Is it normal as an assassin that you have to be directly on top of another assassin to see him? If a stealther manages to stealth away, good luck finding him..
Is it normal that you can be perfed as an assassin before even seeing the other assassin?
Is it normal you can just 'miss' PA?

1. All depends on lvls of stealth, if theirs was higher than yours then yes!
2. Same as Number 1
3. in this 1.65 version i am not sure if the bubble is popped when you PA someone, if the bubble was up then that may be why you missed!

You should see the other assa, yet sometimes due to lag you don't. Happens only rarely though.

No you can't miss pa, you didn perform pa properly (oor, face lag or whatever) and missed your unstyled hit.

No, bubble doesn't prevent perf, thats the whole point. Also, if your attack is stopped by bt, you get a message.

I've only rvr'd for about 15hs on my shade so far, yet I've been destealthed by Speed 6 groups auto attacking me (they had no idea of me being there in the first place) about 5 times already. That never happened on live. You could even just wait between the doors of a gate while a grp ran through you.

This is so retarded it's nearly not worth playing in any zone with 8 mans..

Literally they just past within 500 range and can insta pop you out of stealth..

I think, the problem could be that stealth detection pulses too fast.
I guess, it works like this:
the client gets info about chars in vicinity in pulses. this is also the case for stealthed which 'pop up' if the server calculates that you're close enough. so if this pulse is very often then you can't escape and you even get detected chars with speed running by.
so maybe if this "stealth detected"-pulse is send too fast and too early from the server, I can imagine the outcome we have now.

just a guess though

It's funny I feel like visible are having easier times to find stealthers than I do as an infiltrator. Legit :-P .
