just remove the port timers -.-
enough hibs run to emain just to wait 10min what the next port brings
if ure duo well nice surprise 2 FG -.-

u gain bindpoint and also instant fun on battlegrounds where most people play why not on level 50 ?

cant see the 500 people that voted for it :arrow:

From a gameplay perspective, what purpose does the port timer serve?

Only reason i could think of is one, to make it fair for those who run to rvr. So that those who teleport, have about the same wait time. If that is fixed, then the port time could be reduced. Other reason i could think of is to make sure there is less of, die return and try and kill someone quickly, while you may not be worth anything yet. But that could only happen if there is enemys near PKs

For now, if you dont like port times, go to your frontier.

But for port timer to Citys and other non rvr zones, i think should be a porter NPC.

I still think the best solution would be a added port necklace to the friendly own keep nearest the figting zone (not dc,benowich etc.) This will take away all hourse route griefers and open up for faster and better rvr. This will give ppl resson to defend and take back keeps to so they can get a better port location to the fightzone.

The horse route might had work if the uthgard community would had respect the ppl just wanting to get to emain but ofc not. This server is full of griefers and gimps that cant get rps in a normal way so they exploit all the easy ways there are to get an easy kill. Staff should had realise this a long time ago and tried another custom fix to get a better solution.

I think mine is the best idea so far.

the problems with timers is that a solo guy isnt ever solo when he ports together with like 8 others.
that was the thing i only try to point :roll:

Yes please, this way hib stealthzerg (remember yesterday jonah) can come back at amg instant and add all the soloers.
There's no need for BA because they are near enough.

This isnt insta, u still have to wait for port like mids and albs do now. This is just a way to make it fair for hibs and avoid griefing.

And u are lol, u know im solo the most and when i was with guild at amg for the fun once u go mad. U can check for others when u are in camo u know before jumping me like a kid on chrismas eve.

But u woudnt know as u dont play hib, its not fun solo in emain bcs sometimes its impossible even get there bcs of all the campers. So the only way is to go there safe is in a group. Its not fair that it takes hibs double the time active playing to get to a place with risk of getting jumped unbuffed and not prepered for a fight when it takes albs and mids half the afk time without any risk.

as far the port is every 7min and that you need 7/8min to run to emain on Horse, this change isn't needed at all... :/

No you don't. You find the occasional PvEr at one of a FEW select PvE areas. The fonriter is for the most part totally empty. Stop looking at specific camps that you have a small chance of actually finding people at, go run around the giants in alb, or take a trip south through breifine road, you will see NO ONE AT ALL!


There are about 10000X different things that could bring population out of the PvE zones (go into any of the common PvE areas and see if they are full) and into the frontiers, and you would actually be able to find people all over the frontier, rather than occasionally finding 1-2 people in SW Pennine.

Griefing? Lol. I died in 2 sec with 6 arrows from 6 different rangers waiting for someone incing you. Oh, poor hibs.
Obviously i've seen them (and i spam some laugh too before the inc), i inced you just because when i see something like these, i prefer to log out, and to inc you was the fastes way to go back svasud.

Are u playing the game at all?

U are right about it takes 7-8 minutes with horse BUT u can get killed very easy on the way by fg, griefers, campers etc. Even when u are RS and other ppl know it they kill u anyway just to grief, so the time to get to emain solo can be more then 10 minutes even longer. So i say its more like 9-10 minutes for a hib to get to emain in average. (Big risk to ragequit here when lots of griefers camp the road)

For alb its 7 minutes port yes but average timer is much shorter as if u are lucky its instant and only if u just missed port its a 7 minutes wait. So average timer is around 4 minutes of wait for alb and mids.

So 10 minutes against 4 minutes and u dont see a problem here??? Wake up dude!
And this isnt even the biggest problem!!
This is free rps for albs and mids too making imbalance, its so easy getting rr7 fast just by camping route, its free steady rps, hibs have no easy way like this.

I agree 100% with this.
And thats another reason why so many players playing alb on uthgard.
I play hib.... but i dont go to OF and only stay in DF because this OF-Port-system is a really bad joke. :(

Perhaps the staffmembers should play all 3 realms and all classes.... maybe then they would do some corrections :idea:

Actually I do play solo/grp more than both of you on hib... so don't speak without a clue.

Yes alb & mids got an average time to be back which is shorter to come back in Emain.

But, they are also camped by ppl in front of their keep.
Hib are camped on their horse route, which is definitly the same.

Catching ppl unbuffed/sickness on a horse or running close to their teleport keep is the same.

Btw, if you don't want to get assraped on horse cause you're unbuffed, feel free to buff yourself self before moving.

At least between Druim Ligen and AMG this is a RvR zone where you can find enemies, right ? ^^

You can also be inc by fg near Ailline, that happens quite often, do you think that FG are running unbuff before entering in EMain ? Your arguments are just bad.


I would just tell that there's is 2 horse route ;)


The real point isn't who's the fastest realm to come back to AMG... RvR is everywhere :gaga:


RVR =/= EMAIN -> WAKE UP :gaga:

If this is true u just defend bad decisions and neglects from the staff about the rvr situation.

Yes i can buff, yes i can avoid horse route etc etc but this isnt the point. The points is that its unfair and make ppl avoid rvr. Why do u think mytic changed this with NF.

A retard can see that rvr for hibs sucks today and thats hard to find incoming in other zoons then emain.

But feel free to pretend everything is fine and normal. I myself will probably retire my chars to DF and roll an alb. If i want to run i start jogging, in a mmo i want to fight good fights.
