Why one? Why shouldnt all players go there then? Theres no point to prefer Emain instead of Hadrians. Its just because all are used to go to Emain at the moment. This would suddenly change if Hadrians or Odins have an advantage over Emain. A rotating bonus would destroy this behaviour pattern a bit and the chances may rise that these other zones will see players too.

Your missing the point a bit here, we've been talking about an ungrouped bonus, so the zergs and fg won't go there as often, cause they like the green grass of emain to much :P

We're not looking for a new zerg zone, we're looking for a new solo zone. Because of the nature of OF maps, zergs and soloers can't be in the same zone.

And Emain was orginally chosen as the main RvR zone becouse of keep placement, although I'm not sure how many people here remember/follow that logic.

Well first of all this will not lead to splitting up solo from FG / zerg gameplay because I believe you see this BP bonus as a general thing instead of a bonus just for UNGROUPED players.

Second, I think it might be better to keep things as they are for the gameplay style that works. Emain is now the established group RvR zone.
All we really need is for the soloers and smallman players to establish such a zone for their type of gameplay. Rotating things, especially on a daily basis, would imo unnecessarily mix things up too much.

If you're looking at treating every realm equal (not having to run to the zone), you might want to consider the portal keeps in home realms as stated in my proposal. The good thing about them is that they don't just make it more fair to home realms, but also create more incentives to attack and defend keeps, if implemented properly.

PS: I suggest picking Odins as a 'solo' zone, since Hadrians is a pain to run to for the Albs, Penine mountains is just too crowded with mobs and too annoying to run through.

True, however, I rather would love to see shortend teleport times and horse routes (non attackable while riding) then a non raiding teleport keep.

The teleport keep would be on a 5 minute timer, together with all other timers, since the argument for not lowering the timer was that the home realm doesn't have the opportunity to get to the action zones faster than 8 minutes.

Simply adding the possiblity to port near to the action zone without lowering the timer would be next to useless.

Well, if u can't be attacked on the horse, it would also feel a bit 'non raidable' I guess... :P

In any case, Blue, I've seen that you read my suggestion. Could you please give some feedback about it?

I think it's clear that granting BP bonuses to everyone and switching them around would lead to nothing productive or useful sadly enough.

i ve to agree to zarkors state. Hope staff read this and try to improve some points, OF was fun but that doesnt mean that everything was perfect. Would be great see people try to improve OF under uthgard (compared to live) aspects (less player..).

Ok, what about a BP bonus for soloer and small groups to make building groups a bit less attractive from BP view. This could balance the current situation a bit. More soloers would at least try to meet other soloers in zones like Hadrians or Odins.

What I have in mind is this:
1 player - 75% BP bonus
2 player - 50% BP bonus
3 player - 25% BP bonus
4 player - 0% BP bonus
...

We could decide to activate that in a special zone or better in whole OF and players try to establish solo/small man areas by themself by trying. I think the major change in thinking here would be that its somewhat worth to run smaller. So more solo/smallman groups show up in the distant zones.
It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

In my opinion you should add rp bonus too. And in emain add bonus for fgs.

That bonus should be in all zones except emain.
And it should only exist until other hotspots than amg are established.

Definitely not!

I like roaming in small groups/solo, but RP bonus would add too much imbalance.

RP bonus is not neccessary for solos imo. Its quite balanced that you get the full RP's for yourself. A FG must kill nearly 8 players to get a similar RP gain.

Just a single zone would be much better, it would show us immediately if this will work to bring soloers together.

I vote Odins, it's the easiest to get to due to mobs. Edit: Just saw Zarkor suggested it too.

Later you can always expand the bonus to other zones if needed.

And thank you for taking an interest in solving this issue, I really hope this helps the solo situation on Uthgard. I hope you also rethink the port timers, the fact that almost every death in solo RvR is a /release is making those timers really troublesome.

I think the idea zarkor suggests about a home portal keep is not a bad idea but could be revised a bit.

What if one of the keeps in the center rvr zone for each realm has a teleporter for the home realm. If the keep is under attack then you will not be able to port to the keep. If the keep in the farthest rvr zone i.e. dun crauchon and the keep closest to farthest rvr zone dun crim are under enemy possession then teleport is disabled.

for example: teleport for hib would be dun bolg. They would have to own at least dun crauch or dun crim to be able to teleport. For mid: port to Hlid, would have to own bled or nott. etc.

I believe at some point something similar to this was in live OF but the port was crim/nott/eras and the home realm had to own a certain amount of keeps. Either way I think this would be a slightly better alternative than a designated portal keep for home realm.
