Well that would be the point really. New character would get the RP bonus, although briefly (few weeks at most). In the worst case scenerio that guild groups use this to level new chars, then this means that the high realm rank guild people are not playing their high realm ranked characters. I feel that this would even the playing field for those people who arent high realm rank if people are focusing on other characters. There is no getting around guild solidarity. If you have a guild you enjoy then you are going ot play with them no matter what, and there is nothing wron gwith people running guild group activities. The purpose of my proposal is to offer incentive to new / or more casual type players to leave the bgs, level up their characters and participate in the end game. As a side effect it would in theory mitigate the pressures coming from 'elite' guild groups on new players entering in rvr by giving incentives to park their realm rank 5+ characters in favor of making a new character to run with the guild group. I would think a guild group of realm rank 1 players running around agramon is more even a match for a pickup group than for those pickup group players facing off against a guild group of 8 realm rank 5+ players. At the end of the day, this would boil down to straight up skill at playing the character and organization , instead of skill + organization + realm abilities. The first two, are totally up to the individuals to have to sort out amongst themselves. On the last, we can at least mitigate the effects of this through reducing the amount of high realm ranked players out there, even if only for a short time. |

Zippity,if those "high RR" players are not to stupid they will not change the whole setup but only 1-2 Characters, push them to rr5 or 6 in about 2 weeks, change the next 2.No RP boost thats so immense is the conclusion

Yea maybe the Realm Point concept could use some rethinking, although I still am partial to offering tangible incentives to not hang out in the BGs or to remain low level. |

I strongly object to the idea to speed up rps in any ways..we need to make rvr more fun so you get more rps by action....not by getting you more rps with same action
besides that only will achieve a greater gap between causual and hardcore players in rvr ![]() |

my point of view:
BGs: a lot of fun - even without a fg - small map - 3 bridges and 1 centerkeep - most fights are in this area Agra: only with fgs with highequip/hi-rr (and great luck to beat the high-rr-groups) - also small area but no central fighting-points - only minutes and hours of roaming - no place where you can say: if there is anyone - he must be here.. Sanguine - Shadowblade
Anmar - Healer Draugur - Thane Nagaroth - Bonedancer |

still vote for making agra smaller
and if posible changing milegates so only 1 exit? that way solos can camp the gates easy to make sure to find action when theres not many on because they know people have to come there somewhere and honestly scared for to zergy with small map? dont.. seen 2-3 FG from all sides in BGs without it getting to zergy |

agree with nixian. The routes you have to run compared with bg routes are just too big in agramon. I think many people already proposed it but i will propose it again: Place the tele keeps directly behind the milegates at the old tower ruin or bridge or even closer behind one milegate.
If i remember right the staff wanted to create spots in agramon for leveling and giving those players an area xp bonus. Even if many people might think that it will only lead to leveler farming it will cause palyers to log their mainchars and make some rvr. I would propose to introduce the zone xp bonus in all bgs again. Having the bg keep doubling the zone xp bonus. This would allow low players to reach lvl 50 easier. More players would go in bgs for leveling/ rvring ---> Faster high level without easy mode because of risk of being killed like in df and maybe in agramon someaday. |

Anyone remember old Crauch zone. Everyone xped there. Everyone that xped at Lions,Wyverns or Dogs say ho!
I used to level from 40 to 50 in Emain (crauchon). sure I got run overevery hour but the bonus was dang worth it. Sure as a Hib we would run over to Grannies and run over albs but I am sure they wouldn't blink to go back. All you had to do was release and run back. It cost you no xp loss. Smaller Emain, Xp bonuses, xpoff off! very simple and effective. Funny thats what we had and we ****** till they changed it ![]() |
