chain armor is vulnarable to thrust . the first guy obviosly has low thrust resists , yupp.

k neutral armor should look like ~50 damage less . slightly higher resists are another ~50 . + slightly higher absorb ->at least 300 on the average if i got bad base damage "rolls".

it says in that guide that your absorb is simmilar to scale .

scale ~ chain with 10% more resists cause armor is neutral . i still don´t see that 140 anywhere near that.

and we fought like 3 times - my damage was from 140 - 170 . i scrolled up after the inc´s cause i couldn´t believe it.

lueckeen some usefull post to do?

that seems a bit buggy... even if vw is a SI class... reavers and savage are able to do quite enough good dammage in a position style in melee... but vw seems to be good in melee, in range dammage and have lot of melee resists where the savage and reavers are really weaks.

that seems buggy for me too. maybe some investigation would be needed

agree with salbei.

i hit valew less than 100 with reactionary styles with my savage. Maybe valew melee defenses need a check, (or give that class of magic cloth to arsmans and pallys too :)

Eh? Savages can get the highest slash/thrust/crush resist ^^

But yeah valewalkers are funny, leveling mine to 30 I don't remember resting at all chain killing orange mobs.

savages got the best defense in the game @ panach
on demand melee resists , improved evade and parry
so they got 50% melee resist on demand while evading like an assasin and parry better than a warrior blocks.

most people just don´t use em - those are the anytimer spammers :P

dude i hit at a delay of 5.9 seconds - your ns can hit me almost 4 times while i just do 1 swing (that prolly will get evaded). thats 4 x style damage (not counting offhand hits) you prolly do more during that timespan as an assasin. i don´t have anything else to offer then raw damage - no selfbuffs -no dots - no damage add - nothing .
same delay as the other 2 realms but worse defense (having to spec my 1h and 2h damage without gaining anything extra out of it)

getting out of view - hitting into the bubble or even get blocked virtually means avoiding 4 of your blows in a row. it is only fair that if i do hit - i hit hard.

but this thread is not about armsman . i just want to point out that there must be something wrong with the valewalkers absorb buff and/or af buff.

and why you show screenies how hard you hit enemies without resists ? (and i know bot have capped resists...)
thats the wrong way to prove that there is something bugged....these screenies show definetely no real rvr situation and its the wrong way to call for fixes with faked screenies imo !

chain armor is vulnerable to thrust weapons - that is why .
here is your fake in a rvr situation.

http://rapidshare.de/files/39221643/cindai.avi.html

unfortunatly i don´t fraps every second i´m online and i know that i am buffed - diseased and that i use a different style then in the screenie.(opener instead of higher growthrate followup where the screenie is from). even the base damage roll was bad. his armor is just vulnerable to my weapon - thats why the resists are lower.

a 7lx toon should have capped resists by now ...

just picked this cause its one of these from the screenies. and thats the only one from the people on screenies i got on tape.

here is a list of armortype resists:
http://camelotvault.ign.com/wiki/index. ... ist_tables

chain armor is weak to thrust weapons - one of the main reasons i chose this weapontype. you should know the mechanics before saying that its a fake.

this is highly offtopic btw . i was refering to:
Zarkor wrote:This cleary ain't a flame, just a fact statement.
And it clearly shows something ain't right ... I'm sure he's hitting for more on any other class.

just to point out the huge difference on other targets. i picked screenies of chainarmor cause those where the highest absorb targets i got on screenies. forgot about that armortable when i posted it.

10% resist and 5% absorb won´t cut your damage down to 15%. thats all i wanted to point out. i am supposed to do roughly equal damage to him as he did to me since we both got around 33% absorb and both use slow weapons . not to mention that i am a fulltank and he is a hybrid...
but ingame i hit him for 140 and get 350 from him .

the influence of hase and dex/qui should make up for the str buffs.
sure he was buffed and i was not (except af charge), but my weapon is slower and so is my quickness. i am not rr5+ and he is - ok . it is not one hit out of 10 . we have engaged each other 3 times - and always the same kind of damage showed up +/- 20 .

unless i get a foolproof explaination i have to think that there is something wrong. so far we got a zerker , a skald, a savage and an armsman that have experienced the excact same thing if it comes down to a valewalkers abnormal damage absorb.i am sure those aren´t the only ones.

i would be gratefull if a gm could give a statement.

I dont. What now?
That's why i want you to make test. You're almost sure but you're wrong... I cant really explain this situation with salbei cause i normaly dont deal such a high dmg. It's mostly ~230-250 fullbuffed with Coflagration.

So again. If there is something wrong test it and report. I wont flame if that's a real bug but atm you have just a single ss/video that doesnt say much.

I think we had the answer.
Valewalkers got more af for some reason and their magic abs should be counted as secondary resist instead of primary (this means that also all casters abs should be considered secondary resist and this could explain why sometime I hit harder on light tanks than casters :D)

Now we should just wait for staff answer^

I would wait with those casters^^ My menta gets quite hard dmg and is really easy to kill. Just ask Necator who's able to kill it in ~10 secs?

Well and another thing: Prolly the Absorb is also wrong calculated and is not 33% but maybe 37% or more? And casters , who have NO specc in their shield/absorb line have LESS(?!) abs+af?°°

plz STOP TELLING RUMORS
i already answered this the last time you posted that question.
http://uthgard.the-bart.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=6812

every Caster gets that 25%% bonus and it needs to be tested whether absorb is affected too or maybe its better if a developer looks for that. Testing would be a waste of time i think because if you find the problem in code it should be possible to check if it also increases the absorb buff.
