Gratz to Mids for the relic, as others have said Hibbies can finally do other things like level Alfa and farm rather than stand at Dagda drawing penis patterns with shrooms for hours on end. Take good care of our babies, we will be back for them some day soon.

I was nicely surprised today, when guildmates told me Mids took power relics. But honestly str relics would make me happier as melee player

Mid took them out of prime time because they were not able to break the defence. So your wish is a bit weird, but maybe it comes true ;-). But I ´m sure Hibernia will not try relic raids in the near future.
The daily defending was troublesome for the underdog realm and I m still certain, it had been better to let them in the realm with the lowest population where they don ´t do as much harm as in the hands of Albs or Mids. At least there might be more interesting fights between albs and mids now and Hib doest the guerilla part. 8)

The BG leaders didn't give up...

Seems like it was quite a short time between when I saw the dagda spam and heard the 3rd door was down. I believe Hib owned all but one keep at that time. Maybe the doors were already damaged? In any case, the number I heard was 3fg of mids. If that is accurate, cut those relic guard rations and give them 20 lashes.

I believe it was more like 4FG of Mids, and we had many rams. We got the doors down pretty quickly overall. All three rams up and running within seconds on each door. Not much resistance. Maybe 1fg of Hibs tried to enter and some stragglers, but virtually uncontested.

And you are correct about the keeps. I believe you owned 6 keeps, we took DC for rams and then headed to the relics.

2 FG of mids keeping the hib zerg in Druim Cain made it easier :D

I haven't been on a relic raid in a while since I've been lazy with my alt. I know there have been some tweaks to keep guard spawns. If it is that easy to raid a RK without taking any keeps, that is good to know. Looks like the Guard's Union decided to take a knee.

IMO, it's now the way it should be. If a realm wants to keep it's relics than the players have to come defend. Guards alone can only hold the attackers up for a few minutes, just long enough for the defensive players to rally.

So yesterday Hibs managed to get their str relic back from its extended vacation in the exotic Hotel Excalibur.

It was about the end of the EU primetime, when people across the good realm of Midgard heard the rumor of treehuggers in large forces in the green forest of Sausage. A few groups went and checked it out, while the rest of mids were still on springcleaning duty in own frontiers getting rid of some very solid level 9 gates on Bledmeer.

Basicly what I am trying to say, is that there was no teaming up against albs, mids just showed for action, tried to assjam hibs inside, and then got pushed on by both hibs and albs. Yet an other day in a trirealm mmo <3

My honest gratulation to the hibs for getting back their str-relic !

I was not online yesterday, but i am sure the albs did their best to stop you. We had such great battles for the relics in the last week and i feel sad that no one tells about that battles here. We had several eu prime time raids in the last week and my big respect to everyone who organizes such great battles. What about telling more of that instead of opening the 20th thread about give more xp?

The last fight at relic keep with the hibs (i guess it was sunday) was really great. Hibs blocked excalibur very well and we did not get very much albs inside. So we gathered all albs at the front door and blocked them to get out with the relic. The hibs tried to jump the wall backside and escape with the relic, but we recognized them and managed to wipe them in last second. That was really close and was one of my best fights for a relic, thanks to the hibs for that battle. Who organized your raids, was it the same person that took the relic yesterday? Did not expect you to stand up that fast after loosing the power relics.

Thanks to all hibs, mids and albs for keeping this server alive and doing so much relic action. See you on battlefield, looks like we have some work in the albion fz today :)

It would be amazing to have daily, or weekly topics talking about the big battles when they happend. hear from all sides involved. But it seems like the forum activty is even lower than ingame. So for now this is what we have to settle with.
