How to 3 Shot a RR7 Warrior

i think its only moving since otherwise players that stand still with drawn weapon would be imune to critshot wich isnt the case at least

drawing weapons should not prevent critshot, but the in combat flag should.

... y, this is a good question that prolly need be investigated.

i admit that i experienced to see crit shot dmg when i was not expecting (because when i inc a shield tank i basically only spam crit shots and while target is moving or in combat, i usually see the shot switched to normal shot).

I want to know how many seconds should elapse to get out of combat (and so being able to land a critical shot with bow), because if im right (correct me) should be 10 (ten) seconds, is that right?
Alse probably there are several exploit to avoid that check too..

Any staff member can check on that Crit Shot handler?

the taget has to be out of combat, so like he get speed again after combat (a quite long time).

Well then, should be at least 10 seconds after last hit taken (or bleed/dot) right? :o

Also the rapid fire switch bug has been fixed?

Okey, i made some tests and i was right, on uthgard you can land a Critical Shot even if your target is in combat (but not attack), the only thing needed is that he must stand still. oO

If i remember right, Crit Shot shouldnt land on targets in combat right? :roll:

Just because your Weapon is drawn does not necessarily mean you are "In-Combat". In-Combat flags "on" if any aggressive actions are received or delivered to or from the player. 10-seconds after that last aggressive action will no longer flag you "In-Combat".

Ex) Stand in Combat (without attacking or being attacked by an enemy/monster), then sheath your weapon. You should be able to immediately use MCL.

This screenshot alone does not show enough evidence to deduce whether a bug was exploited (or even if one exists) especially without time-stamps in the chat window.

Exactly, but the Critical Shot of archers ignore this combat flag in some circumstances ---> Bug

Actually in OF live you could double critshot ppl as long as they stood still...

I killed MANY slow-reacting casters and healers camping AMG with double critshot.

It's a wonderful mechanic because it takes longer to crit, it makes the decision of wheter or not you tried a double crit alot more intresting

weapon drawn without any direct combat action was atleast working for the passive RA "Tireless" in the old-ra times. so not sure if it was intended or bugged, atleast i couldnt find anything about that in the patch notes

I cant remember that double critshot once target get hit... maybe crit & stealth/wait 10 seconds... also here u can crit for 3.7 sec and normal shot 3.1 (examples) so not much difference between crit & normal shot :S

If critshot should happen ONLY if target is OUT of combat, it's clearly bugged here.

I do remember it very clearly.
I played Ranger as a main (and only char in rvr) from launch to NF.

There were 2 options to attack casters and healers:

A) 2 crit shots with a chance of the attack takeing to long if the 2nd one failed and needing thus more time then option B.
B) crit > standard > standard

I do think this only worked if the caster wasnt engaged yet.
So if he was out of combat and was too slow to quickcast a dmgspell back to me.

If he could cast inbetween the 2 critshots it wouldnt work.
