will post a video with the chat i had with Blue and that it was the
beggining of the end for me, but before that i have to say, this
was my first contact with Blue in all the 3 years i am playing on
the server, i had some interaction with almost all the rest of the
GM's for several reasons and all of them were acting like pro's or
the least i can say nice. For me every time i did a /callgm it was
starting like this: "sorry to bother you" , "good evening sir" ,
"hi, can you please" or something similar, for me it was a common
sense to call a gm in a nice way while i knew is some guy spending
his free time to help people on the server for free. But thats not
the only reason, even the flamers logging from mid/hib to alb sending
me pm's... out of courtesy i was replying in a nice way, a 12year old
kid was asking me a million questions every day, out of courtesy i was
nice to him even when this kept going for months. Another matter about
communicating in every chatting situation is that you never know what
kind of person in typing on the other keyboard, how old is he? is it
a kid or someone in pension, is it a woman or a man? you just don't know
so it's again common sense to be a bit nice.

In
my mind while i never had any chat with Blue he was the kindest of
all GM's i was thinking he SHOULD be while he run's such a server
for so long time, and also he should be the example, a GM model/paragon
for the rest GM's... a pro...

So...
when i type /callgm Hello, the pa calculation you came up with is wrong
which is definatelly a non trolling statement, while its not something
like : /callgm wow! wtf? omg !!!!!11 pa got nerfed its not correct dudes!
even it was something like that, the reply was still not good.
when i saw that "lol" following by "troll"... i couldn't believe my eyes
the respect tower collapsed, i was broken, now every time i think of
the moment i was typing the word "YES" when deleted my infil my heart
if bleeding, but still i don't want to play on this server ever again.

historical reasons i will make a reference to the "live like" mentality
and the PA nerf as well. I am out of the server, i don't want any comments, i will not
reply to anyone or anything, this is just my 2sents just because i care.

Live Like:
one word that means much... WTF?
you are making live like changes based on a live server running a million patches later?
why don't make live like changes based on world of warcraft? it is the same thing,
live server is that close to uthgard as close is wow. Removing hasteners, nerfing all
gold farming spots, removing barrels... what is the sense behind that? making player
lives harder for what? to be live like? WHY? what are you thinking really? if people
want to play live like server they CAN go to LIVE! they are not here because is free,
they are because this is supposed to be CLASSIC with some customization, lose that
and you have nothing. The only reason i can think of is that you dream of live servers
to close for good and you can have an alternative for everyone...

PA:
before anything, PA tests started by Motaro, the guy who if i combine all his chars together
their total rp's are less than my infil's and merc's LWRP. means he is a totally inactive player.
you did tests on live ? a server with TOA items? and ML's and don't know what else?
sorry but you have to be dump, making tests for some things on a TOA server and then
come to implement them on a classic one just doesn't make any sense. But lets skip that.
Did you asked any really active assasins on the server about it? Did you even play one?

Did't do any research i did't checked any formulas, i will just give you some facts.

I
was playing an infil on live and stoped a bit before NF and just a few weeks after TOA
was live, when i stop i had something like 15m rp's, and those days you couldn't get rp's
when dead so the active played time was much much more that then 19m rps i had on uthgard.
So... the PA on live was pretty much the same like on uth before nerf. Take it from an
infil who did thousands of PA's...


What is PA?
Perforate Artery, a style that requires stealth, if you are not stealthed you can't do it,
also requires the enemy to be facing you, if the enemy is moving you have to try and be inline
to his face and calculate his speed, your lag, and then you might do it successfully.
So when you do it, you inflict damage to the enemy's throat, and this awesome style
cannot be blocked, cannot be parried, you can't evade it, it penetrates bubble,
there is no defence against it, it is the Assasins sadden attack, you don't see it coming
so you get A LOT of damage, your throat is bleeding and there is nothing worse than that...

So
you did all this effort to make this awesome style, and you do what? 350 damage?
while a caster can nuke you without any effort at all for 400?
while a warrior can slam you and hit you for 450 with his 2h?
while a ranger can crit shot you for 900?
and you think this is ok? you make the assasins best style to hit less than any class can hit
higher with much much less effort? and repeatedly? while the infil has ONE chance to do this hit?
Also, i bet you let Backstab the same, so now backstab does about the same damage like PA,
which is just silly... and lets say you nerf bs too, what it will be?
"you perform your backstab perfectly you hit xxx for 170 damage" lol? why bs then?
better open with garrote, it will be the same and at least the target will not be stun immune.

PA formula for Uth patch IS WRONG! and i am 100% sure about this, and you will realise it
soon or later...

Blue and the team spend maybe 30+ hours, that not counting other players effort, to come up with a working PA formula, and you say: "You're wrong"....
Jebuz... I think Blue was being kind to you there, I would have had a rage fit.
I once watched a friend tell his wife that the dinner she had spend 8 hours preparing had to much salt in it... this is basically what you did.

You should never have posted the conversation, before I had my doubts if you were mistreated, now I view you as a spoiled brat.

Edit: So you played on Live, was that with normal buff-botted buffs? Was it with ToA? I could go on, your past experiences are completely irrelevant in this discussion because I bet you did not have a mirror image char on Uthgard, as you had on Live.

For the nerf, i don't know if 350 is damage on every class, but if it's only on heavy armor, that's like it has always ben on live. Your conclusion is correct. On heavy armored tank, PA don't give a lot more damage than a debuff str/con + garrot. I only have my memory to confirm also, but i'm pretty sure it's old-live like.

i can understand your anger but i'm sure that the pa formula is much more correct than it was before the fix.

I just hope you tried many others PA before deleting I know I only have a low rr NS compared to your infi, but sometimes my PA is not very high too. Against heavy armor, str/con charge (+63) and some other stuff on, that 370 can be disappointing, but maybe it's just occasionnal.
