Everything is ok, no need to follow wine from anywhere.
Many things made uthgard far (SO far) from live like it was intended as start actually(*cry* Where is Blue, Where is Limp ....etc). Guessed Uthgard was test HEAD, latest DOl version server ...

Or ... Maybe a thing, like when i said it, calcualte per week/month the most/less populated realm fix a a realm bonus (like on live) for xp and nothing else.

As usually we still missing of base classes implementation like pet for 3 realms pet's welder, discussing of what's better as RA/Ability between 1.78 and 1.84 version etc...

Even svn of last DOL version is on 1.8 and not 1.7.510.0 ...

Refresh all the Alchemy potions, proc, reproc etc (Like icon effect, real duration for add damge proc and so on)

The actual RvR system is far way better than we can should imgine monthes ago, except the automatic balista on tower (own opinion).

Emain, and at least RvR system don't need ANYTHING ELSE, focus on base system and NOTHING ELSE.

ALb are weak, hib are One button realm and mid zerg, everyone know that already.

Sincerly;

Pirith.

Well yes, that reflects your way of thinking pferctly

most simple > simple > not so simple is the equation of what you posted.

I strongly doubt that you did spend even an hour of rvr in OF.

I stayed till rr4 in OF, lil Presto. It bored me. You think of tactics? In OF you don't have any tactic, just simple area-fighting and nobody fights for keeps in OF. I like NF, because of some keeptactics and the landscape is very hilly, so you can set traps, but its just too huge. (talking of Freeshards, not of live, because thats most equal to Uth)

I made around 10 times as much RP in OF ;) So who is the little one? ;) If you take Emain that might be true... but for the rest... NF hast the ultimate zerg design.. nothing more and most parts of it are plain. The whole NF system is ****** compared to the OF system, if if that one had a more simplistic ruleset I must say, that I dont like NF and its zones at all.

I only agree partially. The zone design of NF is absolute zerg friendly, right.
The zones are plain with some closed areas (mountains) which force the
players to run through many hotspots. This situation was the birth of so
called autobahn/expressway farming.
OF has much more possibilities to move around hidden and try to do more
tactical moves.

One thing I like about NF is the new RA system. Ok, it meant in the beginning
some kind of "every realm got the same ******" but however, this system means
no great advantage or disadvantage towards any realm. Consider OF 2cleric
Alb groups with the old Bunker of Faith - these groups were nearly unbeatable. Some RAs just had been to powerful considering their effect
and needed RSpts to achieve them.
Of course even the new RA abilities offer some omfg-dumb stuff like vanish.
And please dont take this as an offend my stealther fellows, but most of you
didnt experience how exciting it was to be an assasin without vanish!

Keepsystem - well, i like this hookpoint system and the NF alchemy small-sized
siege weapons ;)
The new keep design is fair. The only thing i absolutely hate is the
teleport thing - bein able to teleport through whole areas if your realm
holds keeps within your traveling-route. A bit too zerg friendly ^^
And last but not least - the RP system. I think it was a bad joke to
give players about twice RP per kill. Its sad to see how some zergnubs
gained around twice RP like some server-legends oO

what are OF and and NF...?

@vanish

vanish now is much more tactical and must be used in special cases. vanish 1 is more to kill a solo guy a bit back or to use when you are mezzed/root

vanish 2 is pure happyness i think. you are 2 stealthers, you double PA in a group and ciao. you are attacking a smaller group, kill the buffer, chain the casters, have to vanish cause tanks hits you, you regen life and so you kill tanks. or use it when you are under attack.. when you used all your HP you vanish and your friend finish the target.

vanish 2 = hihi to late, i won't die

OF - Old Frontier
NF - New Frontier

The complete frontier landscape and rvr-concerning things like RA abilities,
keeps,... had been revamped with a patch some time ago.

Basic knowledge Old Frontier:

Every realm has got his own frontier meaning its frontier is a part within
a realm -> no loading screen/teleport to get from for example Svasud Faste
into Uppland.
To get into other realms frontiers you had to teleport into other realms. Each
realm thatfor had a Teleportkeep(bridgehead) in other frontiers which could
not be raidet.
Teleportes to other realms frontier were located in one of each realms
MainFrontierKeeps (Mid = SvasudFaste, DruimLigen and Castle Sauvage).
The teleporter NPCs teleported every player within the teleporter platform
each 15minutes to their designated location (medaillons for teleport).
So, there was no rerush and no quick reinforcements.

Here are some maps:
