cause the 123 (4) are easy acces with your hand on the moving keys. the 890 are the easy acces for the static or clicking keys ( spam DD, using styles in duel for fighters, etc...) the 567 are the use sometimes keys ( pet macro, moc+ drain, etc...

so you have the 1234 keys that are the "everytime use", the 890 that are the" sometimes keys", the 567 that are the " can happen " keys.

if you play a bard you should have ae mezz, assist, amnesia,ae amnesia in the mains keys, maybe the heal, a style and one insta in the 890... and the rest that depend how you play ^^

so if you wanna do everything he told, he has to use secondary keys... and anyway it s not possible to do what he explain, it was just to show that's easy to talk , and tell other people that they are noob , but it's much more difficult to play well.

first, there is stuff like /qbind, key modifiers like alt ctrl and also buttons on your mouse using all these you can easily control 15+ abilities without clicking them

secondly, there are people out there who have different layout then you, I know it's hard to understand but it is like that

saying something is impossible just because you can't do it is ignorant at least.

Now for everyone, those points were secret for long time, now I will tell you the key points of DAoC video producing:

1. Clicking with your Mouse and winning is a new skill, showing this on the video has to be regarded with respect, it shell show you that you can win even like this.

2. Showing just wins against low-RRs is to not insult high rrs who payed a high price to not be shown on any scene (they want to have their honor)

3. Delays during the combat (waiting with attacking, first selecting other targets or healing a bit later) is to improve the atmosphere and giving the others a chance

4. the opposit, throwing all RAs is to make clear kind of final scene, it should bring the illusion if there would be a chance for the others to win if you would have done it.

and on server with more than 20 people, you would hardly see any different tactic, because you there would be 80%+ caster setups. Only uthgard with it's unique settings that combines the worst of new and old frontiers when it comes to casters is so ovewhelmed by tanks.
