i saw the vote i lolled and i voted yes XD

Most Greys will add in any fight when there is the slightest possibility that they might get rps or get you killed.
If you are skilled enugh you dont have to kill them to be safe.
Its just the less complicated way to kill them before having a real fight.

A possible solution must have two ways

Greys cant atack you or heal anyone you fight
You cant atack greys.

But to say it in the Staff's way

Greykilling is part of the game, no changes planned

There don't have to be a real rule against it but more like a code of honour.
Because killing for no reason is morrally wrong even within a game.
The adds I can understand.

So well if killing is even in a game morally wrong...
This game is morally wrong as a whole!

People who are going to level in a RvR Zone are comparable with a Movieteam doing a shooting in a Warzone like Afghanistan any other dangerous zone where people kill eachother...
So there has to be a big chance to catch a bullet, in our case a knife, sword or arrow.

Moral argument confuted.

I was typically spared as a gray. I will respect that as I am 50, and anyway we need all the population we can get. I don't want to keep a gray from turning yellow and being worth something :D

Well, to forbid greykilling is very senseless.
In BGs greys have to be killed, cause for example in Brae there are 50% grey for lvl 35.
Agra is highrvr and there are no greys at all :P (most of the time).

But in DF it's horrible.
What is the sense of the following scene:

I entered DF at lvl 9 (with a grp). We went down, saw 2 albs.
We waved at them, and surprise: we were mezzed, dotted and finally killed by a infi Oo.

I mean, what is the sense of killing non-adding rp-worthless players Oo
Can't understand this -.-

It should give a rule against greykilling of non-adders.
I know it's difficult to realise, but it's the best way I think...

we once had a log for that so that everygreykill of a grey that did not atack you was counted. once we had a BP wipe for the char with the most greykills.

RvR - Zone => everybody (of a other realm) is killable

PvE - Zone => only realm duells are available

So this discussion is senseless.

Please close it.[/b]

Greykilling wasnt forbidden on live so why should it here ? IF you go to DF to get the Exp bonus you have to count with enemys becouse this is an RvR Zone, and DAoC is a Realm versus Realm game. So dosnt matter of grey, green or whatever. Grey player is an enemy too and will become dangerous later.

Greykilling will not be forbidden. Going to Darkness Falls means a danger. A danger that is rewarded with a 25% bonus to experience gain. The realms are in war. This is a scenario where you get a view of the lots of attitudes that there are in mankind. In each war there are some people who kill and civilians and of course even children. Although it's not fair, unfortunately it will happen. As this is only a game and not a real war, the inhibition threshold to gank low enemies is at a really low level.

Some do it, some don't. Some like it, some don't. Nevertheless it is a part of RvR and won't be forbidden. If you feel disturbed by being killed by a purple enemy, maybe you should start to explore your homelands? (rhetorical question)
