I respect what you do and I applaud your efforts. I wish you had more help! However, based on the attitude I see from Mid, I would never re-roll there. It is a very unattractive situation with the attitude of the players there. People can do what they want but until Mid has some kind of cohesiveness, it'll stay the way it is. I admit we struggle against the 8-man NA time Mid groups. If it's 8v8, they run right through us. Our class makeup, etc. is just not suited to dealing with that kind of setup. But... we really don't care all that much.

Mids kicked our asses in open field a couple nights ago in Alb. We won the first fight and they won the next two. (I think you were there) It was very impressive to see how the Mids maintained discipline and just worked us over. Some extremely good players in Midgard to be sure. I think most of us are thankful that isn't harnessed into a cohesive unit.

In Hib, we aren't necessarily the best players because we're all very casual but we're together and we're friends. It's a lot of fun because everyone sticks together. That's the culture we've tried to cultivate and it's been pretty successful. It's funny how different each realm is. So you guys may smoke us in even numbers but we're not going to give you even numbers. This is war, not dueling. We'll overwhelm you and keep going about our business and having a great time doing it.

Thanks for the morning fun today in Alb frontiers. Mids were knocking down keep after keep and no sight of Albs mobilizing. Untill they hit us in the back on innerdoor at Ren. By then most mids were halfasleep from hitting doors and not fighting, and logged.

A group of us remained and had some fun defending a few of the keeps. We might not all have been 50, templated, nor organized. but I assume that was the same for Albs, just getting together and going out there. That is the fun I like in Daoc and on Uthgard, not the 8man bestfriend groups looking for even fights and massive skill display. Everyone to their own enjoyment, and I respect that!

I am just glad to see 3 active realms, and players to fight for both the 8mans and the zergs. And with the exp event over, I guess even the greykillers got some action

Oh and for those saying theres nothing to do outnumbered. I got a bunch of kills defending 2vsZerg last two days, on a non templated char at level 45 with a 42 partner. numbers are not everything
Heck Im even running out solo from time to time just to see what I can do in a keep. Maybe some would think its feeding enemies realmpoints, I dont really care about dieing. I will just have warstories to tell when I dine with the Gods in Valhalla

I never said that zerging is illegal or that we hate whoever is doing it against us. We tend to use the same tactics when we know that that is the only way to win.

Celeny = Lunacy? same person, 2 different guilds? one alt in 8x8 guild and one alt in zerg guild? Constantyne, can we have a deal? You give us this clown as a prisoner and will live hibernia alone for a day or so. We just want to interrogate him and find out how he achieved such a success in game while the rest of hibernia is suffering.

Lunacy and Celeny are different people in different guilds. Lunacy is MK and Celeny is in Neartmhor.

Huh? Sorry I just saw this thread. How did I get brought into this? Since you say 'MK minus the clown,' and I'm in MK, are you referring to me as the clown? I am not a l33t player, I just try to do what I can to cure some mezzes and blow stuff up. Sometimes I chime in on strategy but I don't like to lead; I run with my wife Moxy and my real life friends and guildies. Celeny is at least willing to try to help marshall the troops, so I give him props for doing it. I just play my 2 to 4 hours of available play time and do what I can, and try not to be excessively grumpy.

The NA evening RVR has been fun, thanks Mids and Albs for coming out to play.

As someone said earlier this is a game and you choose how to play the game...either 8vs8 or zerg or keep retake it doesn't matter .....elitism is gone or should have been gone in our age !!!

Gratz Midgard for power relics, but imo from realm balance view it had been better if you had let them stay in Hibernia

Speaking solely for myself I am glad they are gone. I have spent far too many times defending Dagda and repairing the doors, quitting leveling/guild PvE groups to run out and defend against attackers and hours and tons of cash running wood out to repair the doors.

Now Hibs have NO reason to take keeps, defend our frontier or have to quit a Dragon/Legion/PvE raid because there is NO pressure you can put on us to force us to respond to your actions. Don't be surprised if you don't get much action in Hib for the next few weeks/months because I for one am going to do what *I* want to do no matter what actions you may take. Now YOU can be on the defensive and we can do WHAT we like, WHEN we like. Relics are certainly a nice bonus to have, but they come at a price.

Enjoy them while you can. Soon enough you will be cursing yourself for having taken them.

There are a few factors I kinda like about this shift. apart from the most obv. one, more damage

its not so much the fact that we got power relics that excite me the most, its disarms hib casters the 20% most of all. Actually giving my healers a chance to catch up when i call a stun has landed(followed by nukes and debuffs) just makes for abit more fun play when you get a chance to react. (pug playstyle im sure its easier to catch onto in a 8man ofc)

Also lets not forget how supperior the midgard keeps are compared to hib silo keep layout I dont belive we can hold the relics if hibs REALLY wanted them back asap. but I do hope we get to hold them and when we lose them, it will be during primetime and not some early morning raid when there are no mids on. (like when we retake our str relics from albs)

This raid took a LOONG time. We formed the BG at 7PM CET /1PM EDT and ported to Hib at 8PM CET. We didn't get all 3 relics home til after 7 AM CET! We almost got the first relic early but were stopped before we got it home.

The BG leaders didn't give up...

Good to know Hibernia has now surrendered to Midgard's will. Should have just given up at the start of the war, Odin and Thor have always been stronger. Now go fetch me a mead, servant.
