Mid is quite the exception. 2 healers shaman and skald. All of which are super plentiful. That's the core to a mid group. The other 4 slots you can just grab anything. Assist and stick. Job done.

2 Druids+Bard+eld and u will have a better setup (+Nearsight) , still 4 slots open.

Sorc, Cleric, Cleric, Minstrel/Pala

Not that much of a difference.

The focus was the word plentiful. I think hib has around 4 maybe 5 bards that will casually pug. Eld's are not always easy to find either.

Noob question: does rez work in keeps? If yes, it would be nice to add some reasonable RP for rezzing ppl during keep fights. There is a good chance that some nature druid doesn't get group so he just sticks around rezzing ppl.

Well, if killing ppl will get keep bonus, suggested by this topic, rezzing ppl (even ungrouped) should get some extra RP too.

Back to topic:

1. I am fine with 1, as long as the amount of RP is not too high and has a cap per day.

2. would be simply great. Better even the good old bonus RP for a keep def right after the defense. Although I think past 1.65 that was just a neat feature that promoted keep fights between real player and did nothing bad.

3. I am against 3. I know we are not at a point where everyone has a lot lvl 50, but we will get there. And raiding a keep like fensalir, Renaris, Ailinne, logging a bomber grp inside, playing other alts and just log back as soon as the keep is under attack and bomb the hell out of unaware attackers was not 1.65 anymore and just lame. :wink:

That is a valid point I am very well aware of. But on live it was a long patch process leading up to 1.65, we (Uthgard) started there. So on live I dont think they removed keep logging, because they saw it as a game design fault, but rather recognised the evolvement of the servers, that made the feature unpractical.
Uthgard is a young server, and right now it would help and promote interesting and engaging keep fights.
If in the future there are lots of 50s and keep gameplay suffers because of it, there is no reason to hold on to the feature. But right now we need it and it will help make RvR more interesting. Its actually crucial. If daily keep tasks get implemented and keeps are still devoid of players, we might as well not change anything.

I love how many people just disregard the topic and then proceed to only want things that will benefit themselves. Not many people can see the bigger picture at all and it's borderline selfish. We should be looking to improve the server for everybody. Not just make rash changes that will benefit you and/or your class/realm.

I'm all for ideas, but when the reasoning basically says "it will be great for me" then I feel like I have to say something.

I like the idea of daily keep tasks, guard tasks or any other sort of RvR task. As well as RPs for keeps. These would honestly benefit everybody imo.

Although my primary goal was to improve RvR for professionals and casuals in general, I dont see any harm in asking for a rule addition for rezzers. If a rezz would count the same as a kill, that would probably entice more healers to join in keep fights and thus prolong them and make them more challenging/interesting.
The whole point of this thread is to discuss and theorize on the bigger picture, so the staff has something to work with. I am sure Blue and Co are monitoring every thread with proposed changes very closely and the general intention to improve and promote RvR is apparent by previous changes the staff made.
So just speak your mind. I believe an addition for healer classes of all realms, will be rather balance neutral and have a positive impact overall.

Do not flame everyone who is not in your peer-group as "noob", "trash", "elitist" etc.

Do not let the casual random grp with epic armor get "nicefightet" 3 meters out of sauvage/ligen/svasud and run through becuase you "do not add".

Don´t add fights in the middle of nowhere from people who asked you before not to do so.

Ask nicely for "no add" or "add".

Answer nicely.

Maybe even invite a unkown if you are missing a groupmember.

Don´t be an asshole.

Have fun.

Could be so easy even without 1313123 changes on a frikn freeshard in 2017.^^
