had such fun plans for addengarde so many of the players never made it to emain and some of our core players Holstine - cleric rage quit from daoc lol. addengarde was all mid mains, and since only 3-4 of us were playing active ive abbandoned that guild

well back to ur ''alliance'' requiem are not the only guild out there looking for 8v8 without add's, its only becasue requiem are currently the only grp strong enough to survive and kick ur ass when u add,

requiem dnt add DG coz requiem are fair
DG dnt add reqiuem coz DG is scared

either thats true or some sort of discussion has happened at one point enabling a no add policy between u guys.

Nah you know the point...when DG adds a Fight maybe when you fight reqiuem they got killed by both groups (most time), so why they should when they know both groups turn around and kill them together? Gala isnt the smartest guy but hes NOT so stupid that he do this all the time!

Well, I would call it learning through negative re-enforcement - DG added many a fight only to get turned on But in all seriousness, it is probably true that we are one of the few guilds that DG does not add ..all the time. The reason we are left alone by most guilds is that we quite stubbornly stick to our no-add / no-grief policy, even if we get added all the time by some groups or individual (yes this also applies to solo players and smallmen). Eventually, even the most die-hard adder will start thinking twice, because we try to avoid feeding grudges (we add them because they add us yadayada). With DG in particular, I think whether they add depends on two factors - general success that night (if they win many fights they seem to be more generous ) as well as who is playing Pac. Northforest for example is a stand-up guy that values fair play so he doesn't add us.

But if you keep killing solos, smallmen and add other peoples' fight, then don't expect them to be kind to you. This kind or luxury has to be earned with many enemies on Uthgard.
