I recommend you go back and read the 2006 official Prima Guide to DAoC, or maybe wiki what Realm VS. Realm means, because clearly the concept and its complexity has over taken you. I'll give you a hint, organized 8v8 fights, chatting in IRC with your expected and known enemies, is not Realm VS. Realm, that is organized fighting/isolated RvR encounters.

Additionally, ppl complain about it being dead in emain, while I am very delighted when I see low RR PUG Mid Zergs out in emain, as it gives casual players a chance to enjoy RvR without gettting cut down in an instant by a cookie cutter Alb or Hib Grp.

and running around in a fg with rr9's and 10's vrs rr 4's = equal fights? you wiped one group.. then a second back to back... and so.. we did exactly what you did. and thats zerg. clearly your lack of understanding cannot fathom the concept of 8 vrs 8 isnt always fair fighting when your RR is so much higher. and tho we might not have such toys to play with, which comes from being high RR. we have friends. we also want to win a fight sometimes aswell. if we have to zerg because you guys form such elite groups that we simple pug americans cant defeat.. who is really to blame for making us zerg in the first place then?

what annoys me even more with people like this is after they beat Both groups back to back, i bet they were all like "Yea man we totally kicked their butt and stuff"

Yeah yeah, RvR, fight for your realm, it's red it's dead. Sure when daoc was new there was the sense of adventure and realm pride. But when the game is out 10 years, and you can xrealm easily, the thing that still keeps me engaged after 6 years is the combat system.

Lot of people simply want to make use of one of the best combat systems out there and test their skill against others, and that simply doesn't work in zerg fights where individual skill has little meaning.

I am sure these guys enjoyed "proper" RvR at some point but come on, after playing the game for years this gets old.

Also consider this, no matter how rude 8v8 players can get, they are still asking you. They can't do anything else. However if you want to zerg/add you don't need to ask, you can literally force this playstyle on them.
