I'd also do that as long I am low RR. Not knowing what RR Celteen is I cannot say if I despise or support this behaviour

Well i as one of the hib grp members can just say how disgusting that is to have 2 guys running behind you or somewhere near you and decide if they add or not.
They don't realy help you or so they fight for there own to make best profit with rp. They are 7l1 and 7l3 now just looked it up. Its good enough to start rvr allready.
The most annoying is that afterwords ofc the enemys bring more and run together 2fg sticked or so. But than celteen/killkeen don't add cause they might die ...

No problem. This is by no means solo vs group, because even FGs don't add and stand around others sometimes. Celteen is a very special individual, he doesn't simpy add, the correct verb would be that he vultures.

btw I am really against banning those who only watch the fights. Ban those who constantly duel other high RRs and boost their RP even more by that.

As can be seen from my old posts in the Odins topic, no one is more in favor of banning RP farmers and people who arrange duels by IRC or forums of whatever can be proven. But exploiting the game versus simpy not adding and standing around enemies is a totally different thing. My Friar "constantly duels" other people all the time, because I play him solo. All solo people "constantly duel". Just as they constantly get ganked, added, griefed and zerged.

A quick few examples from history:

How about the medieval and ancient rules of deciding outcomes of wars and sieges by a fight between SINGLE champions of each army? How about the ****** and the Allies celebrating Christmases together even during the hardest fights of World War 2? How about the airplane aces of World War 1, both German and Allied, who frowned upon killing opponents who were already damaged and forced to land? And I would gladly chase you through 14 zones if I had to, simply seeing you running in panic for 12 minutes makes me ding IRL.

I do remember on live around 40 people from each realm, sat down and were duelling in odin's gate without any csr to ban anyone, this was quite normal and happend several times a week.

I can't see why theres anything wrong with showing some respect against your enemies instead of having that RED IS DEAD kinda thing going on.

It's a game and not a war, come on guys.

understood.. always add, and if you die do not return to that zone for a while, because your enemies may still be there.

I just think its ridiculous that the GM are forcing players to add or run away. Players should be free to choose their own actions in game. If someone stumbles across two players fighting and wants to sit inside their fight it should be his free choice to do so with being banned and punished for it.

And the rule is also very diffuse. Maybe you sit nearby a fight to regenerate health an KABLAM you're banned! (like Cazad).

You guys are all a bit unrealistic...

Such mass bann (nearly) happened in the past too and they were not without a reason.

But prolly it's only such a strange dejavu that on these actions some names are often involved but prolly all were not gguilty and only the gm's are soo bad... QQ

First I want to say that I appreciate all the hard work that the STAFF does to provide us a FREE server to play on. I truly appreciate their efforts to keep it free of cheating so we can all enjoy the game.

That being said we have to look at this situation objectively.

This happened at Albion Mile Gate in emain, the single busiest spot in RvR on the whole sever. No one arranged anything, it just happened like it happens every single day. If the GM had watched it for a couple mins it would have broken up and dispersed like the rings in a pond when you throw a stone into it. Nobody did anything wrong and yet they where punished.

This is what has people upset, nobody likes being punished and they hate it when they get punished unfairly.

Cazad is a guildie and he did nothing more than what he does every single day he plays on this server. He went to AMG to find a fight and scout it for his guild and to watch good fights that others have and not add. He went there to simply play the game just like I am sure everyone else that was involved did. Suddenly he finds himself banned and fined 10k rp's at the whim of a irate GM.

This ban is wrong and it will cause nothing but trouble in the future for everyone because we as people wont let this unfairness go without a challenge. This ban can never be enforced fairly on others because the GM's would have to sit at AMG 24 hours a day and ban everyone that doesn't add on a fight. If the GM's don't do that then they show themselves to be liars and hypocrites.

None of us want to see cheating and all of us support the GM's fully when they ban people for cheating. (except for the cheaters themselves)

But no one cheated here, this ban needs to be removed asap.
if you don't do the right thing and remove this ban, you are going to be very embarrassed in the future because we will do everything we can to show you how stupid this ban was and how you can not now or ever enforce rules such as this. Not without banning way more people then you ever intended to.
