If you have a valid source for that claim (it should half the rate?) we can make a bugreport and add it to the tiny buglist in my signature =)
I once did a little test about that with a lvl50 RR4 SB, unbuffed, dex was 20 under cap in sc. My hunter and Pet hit that SB. SB was passive and did nothing. Pet hit from behind, so could not get evaded. ![]() its from this german thread: http://www.uthgard-server.net/themes/Ut ... nipost.gif But I calculated the evade chance wrong. AFAIK pet never halved evade, it was something I recall the hunter TL asking for at one point.

Multiple attackers do reduce evade rate, but we don't know by how much.

They should reduce all defenses. And increase chance to hit perhaps?

In alot of those videos, it would of helped alot, if you run ran through and /face, repeatly with back style or just taunt combo. Yes some may say lame, but guess what, its your enemy that thinks its lame, while at the same time he has evade 7 and most likely about 50% evade, while you have maybe 12% or so. So intead of giving your enemy the advantage, ignore this lame label and practice this tactic, since when old ra/1.69 comes, you will not be CS from stealth vs assasins, unless Truesight is up.
And i do agree the pet should lower the defenses a little more, since there is two attackers, and would help the hunter. And in that video where you are kiting the friar, you should of turned your pet to neu or to stop attacking after all that running, the friar would prob not of noticed, and then you could of stealthed, then told the pet to attack again. He would have to kill the pet, allowing you to pull off a CS, when your pet died and he tryed to heal. Just have to time it good. |

I'm sure with parry chence... %parry is splitted by number of attackers (hunter and pet = 2 attaccker) and i think evade chance works with the same formula...

Not bad, just need to learn how to kill without a CS, since revamp will most likely take that away lol. Exept when TS is up. |

I'm sorry, don't want to sound negative.. but yeah ok you were a bit unlucky in the first fight..
BUT, there is so much you could have done better, I'm not surprised you lost really.. No buffs, no tactics, no movement at all.. If these are the ppl that whine for nerfs then well, go figure ![]() If you enjoy playing like this, then I wont stop you :p Just know you can work on your playstyle a lot ![]() |

Yeah I'm sure that being evaded 4-6 times in a row with a 3+ second attack delay by an enemy that only needs one hit to be killed is a problem that Rangers deal with on a daily basis.
![]() I agree that there is more Laya could have done. I would have just walked away and shot Dragoonn. But I also know what it is like to have all of your attacks evaded by an enemy that only needs one hit to be killed. It's a bit of a shock, as you stand there waiting for that one hit and suddenly you're dead. It is for this reason that I completely disregard melee as a Hunter. I simply don't do it, because on Uthgard it is broken and favors the Hunter's enemies while doing nothing for the Hunter.
