With old ras assassins take a lot benefits to balance their skills... Basically the better tp for an assassin is 50 dual atm (im speaking about alb), because u haven't enough chances to make pa on a stealther, and a infi with 50 cs loses a lot of end with anytime style. With see hidden assassin will get more chances to make PA (it means about 900dmg with 50 + something like 16 or 17 cs), stun with creeping death and more evade chances (with the Evade ra that increase % of evade). The issue with current mos is that an assassin can't make his best style (PA) to kill an archer, on live mos range was drastically reduced to 425 units (mos5) in order to give chances to an assassin to make his styles. With old ras the only way an archer (without PD ![]() ATM is really a crap, u can't make PA on an archer with mos 5, u can't deal damage without viper (PD4-5), u can't win (AP)... Holavez |

900 damage PA lol. And id bet some of the assasins would consider that fair, start a fight with someone, with a hit that will do about 60-75% of there life, fallowed by a long stun. And since Avoid Pain is something you have to activate, you will not be able to reduce the PA. Non stealthers can stand a PA a lot better then archers, as we have alot less defenses, less HP or limit on skills. You may have a chance with IP up, but with IP down and camo down, your chances are very limited. I guess most archers will have to hide away from the fight for 10min for camo each time.
And those who complain about MoS on archers on the new system, should actualy spend the pts for equal MoS, with equal MoS youl have better detection when there camo is down, which it takes very little to cause camo to reset. The main reason many assasins would want this new system is because of the QQing of rangers. They totaly ignore the other two archers who will also suffer greatly. The biggest complained about the ranger is the PD and IP, which will be on greater timers now, so why gimp all archers will this stealth. |

Well this post and others before this about what is not fair about the introduction of Old Realmabilities (that bit sill sounds odd xD ) but here it goes.
Ftm, there are 2 archers classes somewhat completly useless, 1 more then the other (scout has at least slam => pretty good block chance in addition). All assasin classes are now heavy dualwielding & viper 3 for countering the (smart skilling) melee rangers that thrive under the conditions at hand. This will be shaken up hard by the changes that will come. Assasin classes will be OP now vs all archer classes in short range melee combat and all archer classes will be somewhat obliged to go back to their roots, archery! The problem starts here, none of the 3 classes performs well in archery ftm due to several bugs/problems/concerns (call it how you like) around bow. Anyhow it makes bow dmg laughable and thus unusable. Fix these problems and they will start archer groups again that will might group up in groups 3 or 4 to 2 shot the 2 clerics in an alb group for instance. Uhm a ranger makes 800dmg (im not counting critical and add dmg) with bow (and i don't think that anyone is full bow spec)...
And yes, melee spec must be only crap vs assassins... Holavez |

800 damage every 4,x sec and it cant crit anymore and no poison/procs. Wow, very op. I get 400 to 500 crit with pd5 plus crit/proc/poison without any delay. |

PA maybe hard to line up, but there is no way PA is harder to pull off then a critshot lol. And still i think critshot is weaker damage.

Remove True Sight and See Hidden.
Make MoS work exactly like NF MoS with a 1/3/6/10/14 point progression. This is the only custom change. Yes or no?

I would agree to that, to keep the current stealth system and Ra's that are related. I think if mythic knew about the troubles the old system had before hand, this would of been the stealth system from the start. Just think about it, after this newer stealth was implemented, there has been very little change to it.

I think NF MoS with OF RAs could be an improvement over our current system. If I could go one step further I would let archers purchase their class RR5 ability for 10 points on a 30 minute timer.
Of course none of this will happen. Dream on.

No. Keep the NewRAs and fix the bugs or swap to OldRAs all over. Half custom RAs is crap ![]() |

i have 1303 hp, 800 dmg with bow from 300 units makes ranger to win the fight...(if i take viper 3 and mos 4 at 6l4, the rank i'm i will suck vs sb and other assassins, basically ranger sucks vs nobody). Don't speak about old ras if they aren't implemented yet...The actual system is a crap, an archer can see everything and camo every 10 mins (with old ras camo is about 20 mins to reuse, but i may be wrong), an assassin has to spend 34 points on mos5, camo every 10 mins to counter that...PD, AP, RR5, Bow, Bazooka...What are u asking for? U have AP to rightly Avoid PAin, u have camo to counter see hidden, u have purge vs poison, u have true sight to detect all, what are u talking about? LOL guys, im 6l and i don't make posts to QQ about rangers, and u are making post to QQ on old ras before their update... With old RAS an archer(6l+) (just the ranger) can make 2k rps every 30 mins, i think is fine...Now u make 20k in 10 mins ![]() Holavez |

So your upset that you have to spend all your RAs to beat rangers, while doing so makes you more vulnrable to your enemy assasins. Well guess what, everyone has to face that. If you go for PD and not AoM, your tailoring yourself vs melee more. If you choose high MoS, you tailor yourself for stealther wars, but doesnt help much in non stealther combat. It has always been like that. Same goes for specing, one can spec for full bow and be vulrable in mlee, or full melee and not have the range utility, or hybrid and be about half and half. Basicly what you want is to spec to kill others, but still be able to easly kill rangers/archers.
And camo on old ra's is still 10min reuse. I find it funny that in old and new ra system, many assasins complain that camo isnt fair. Even though it can be reset easly and for that 10min, the assasins have a great advantage, from a passive bonus, that is never down and only negated vs those who have camo up. While camo isnt always up, and when its down, you are more vulnrable to all assasins in the area. All that the old stealth system is going to do is make having camo up, a requirement to be in a danager zone, with it down, your chance of getting PAed is very great and if you do, your surviviblity is much much less. And im talking about all archers, not just rangers that are effected. Then there will also be True sight grps that will grow after its released, then all stealthers will be complaining about that, as that is how it was on classic days with TS. The new system was a needed fix to how stealth worked between archer and assasins. Oviously assasins may not realise this right now, but when TS and camping archers start becoming a norm, this will cause issues. |
