Theurg still powerful and annoying in 8vs8.

No matter how much earth pets miss you cant cast with one on you.

No it's not. It's only powerful if you ignore it, same goes for any caster.

is there any evidence that leads players to believe that Bonedancer "healer pets" will be implemented in the near future?

As for theurgs, if the earth pets miss 50% of the time, do they still interrupt the target that theyre on? and is there a limit for the amount of pets a theurg can cast at one time, because on live there was no limit back in the day

Well besides earth pets who miss 50% of the time

What? Is this still the case?

[04.02.2010]
- Worldbuild: Added several house lots in Carlingford (mid).
- Change: ToHit bonus in melee for multiple attackers introduced
- Bugfix: Pets ToHit chance in PvP were accidently influenced by level difference modificator (they missed more and got hit more than they should)

The only limit is the powerpool for the amount of Theurg pets.

I like the theurg class A LOT. so if anybody could clear up whether or not the pets were fixed on the theurg I'd really appreciate that bit of knowledge. thanks!

haven't done any testing, but I remember dieing to earth pets in the BGs, and when I was reviewing the dmg, at no point was I noticing a 50% miss rate. That high of a miss rate should have stood out. Anecdotal, but that's what I recall.

Go for it you most propably don't regret it. Don't forget, the server is in constant development and if bugs are reported properly they will get fixed.

There was several effort in the past to make Theurg pets as live like as possible. Only thing you should know, Uthgard Mobs and pets are in general weaker than the mobs on live due to bugs in their damage and ABS calculations. But these bugs are currently in my focus and will be fixed. In PvE this doesnt matter for you. In PvP the pets do still a good job.

Blue, is there any plan to implement and fix the bonedancer class to make it just as it was on live at this particular patch? What is the current recast timer for insta lifetap on a bonedancer right now? it was 4seconds i believe on live

I think bonedancer and the other SI-casters got rather low priority.

It seems like you want a pet caster? then theurgist would be a nice choice imo.

I like pet casters for support, ie, mana chanter, suppression BD, and air/earth theurg. I don't see too much utility in a mana chanter, because they are good in keep takes/keep defense. in open field RvR, the bd and theurg are prob my best shot. I know alb the best, so theurg is lookin like my #1 choice atm. Any english speaking or US play time guilds recruiting? Im a veteran I have a lot of RvR talent to bring to a guild
