The RA poll is flawed, at the beginning when most of the people voted it wasn't known that OF RAs necessarily included going back to patch 1.65.

After that was announced many people have expressed the desire to change their vote.

you should be happy cause of gaining 20krps in 4h? Oo
you should be happy to play daoc !

Yes, I'm happy to actually PLAY DAoC, and not wait for 7 minutes on the stupid pad, just to get zerged at the milegate.
And yes, RP gain is AWFULLY slow. That's NOT my vision of fun.

Why don't you go and play Civilisation or something if you like doing nothing for hours?

yes they work on the Herald warmap (which we also had in NF before)
a working ingame warmap with OF is not possible as it's hardcoded in the client

cause i want to play daoc? and im not doing nothing for hours in daoc , on uthgard as it is right now

you can't say you wait 7 min every time cause its just not true,..
the average port time is 3,5 min ,..
it often happens i /rel , switch in the necklace i already got in inventory and get portet back instantly
sure it also happens i /rel , and see the port guys standing around , port already done, just leaving
then i go and get me a tea or coffee , when im back im in emain

but yes , its very crappy albs cant pass amg on primetime

Also a new OF vs NF map poll would be in order to see what we think about it.

the staff already said something like:
" OF wont be switched back to NF in the next time , since we attracted many new players with it , and it would be very bad for those to see its switched back to NF , when they are right before 50 and just joined uthgard cause of OF..."

I must of missed that.

And what if the players want something different?

There will be no going back to NF. Accept it. Live with it.

I think we should all have a say in that.

I dunno, I joined the server because I saw it was announced that OF had been selected. This made me think the selection process was over?

But since we don't know anything about anything right now, the staff will just have to speak up sooner or later.

No, they don't have to at all, which is why they most probably won't either.

I think that they should consider returning to OF, but it would be absurd to make the switch back already, even if it is shown that most forum users are in favour of the switch. They should wait until the generation of players they believe they lured with OF will have reached L50, PvPed a fair bit and been assimilated in the "general population" in terms of their relation to the game. At this point, it would be worth considering an in-game poll for all L50's if they want OF or NF and if there's a clear majority in favour of NF, then so be it.

From what I've read, NF does seem more interesting, but I only really played OF (I quit DAoC before TOA+NF; came back briefly on Gareth, but that wasn't much) and here I'm only L42. Either way, for now it's clear that we have to do the best we can with OF and if in six months or a year it's found that by far most players find NF to be better suited to RvR -- especially now that Uth has a higher population --, then we should probably make the switch. But anything before that would be precocious.

I love OF and will allways prefer it to NF. Server population has grown and is still growing, so even OG and hadrians become more crowded and it all works out fine in my oppionion.

And by the way, rvr is much more crowded now than since back with NF on this server.
Switching back now would make Agramon a pure zerg zone, with 2 fg mids camping each of the other realms porter tower at prime time, i can only imagine the QQ "we want OF back!!" then
