Hey remember that topic someone opened a couple of months ago about how mids can't raid and defend their relic and some hib posted something in the lines of "HA HA, that's what you get for ignoring casters for years".
Well finding a good eld for group is hard, I can count 3 elds that are good, out of those 3, 1 is active more or less and the other 2 play other realms so them being online is not something you can depend on. Enchanters (which are needed for those hybrid groups) are just LOL. Every topic in hib section that asks about enchanters for example ends with a post "Don't make one, you will NEVER get a group! Make a bm!"Going back to my initial rant I just have to say: Guess who's laughing now... Hibs got used to ddb bmbmbmbmbm so now they get rolled over by EVERY SINGLE MID PUG with a rm that has enough active braincells (like 2 are enough) to stay behind and nuke down pushing tanks. Oh and btw, even tho it's not coming soon, but when bd pets get implemented get ready for 2bd setups, you will see how easymode mid is then. So raging/whining about mid being OP is really useless now, save it for later 
I will not go into "SVGS ARE OP!!1" topic as I have said before, staff have stated that they will not remove SI classes, and they will not customize them, svgs are here to stay and it is very likely they will stay in their OP state so deal with it. Those topic hijackers, go roll an archer, you have the mentallity for it^^ And last but not the least, mids trying to defend mid with statements like these really don't help their case, just be quiet and enjoy yourselves untill you get bored of "easymode".
Comparing zerker who usually pushes (and in most cases overextends) on enemies support with a hero that plays defense...
So by your logic, celerity doesn't mean ANYTHING because of it's low range? A good AT leader will call for celerity (between targets...) and his AT will run in healers celerity range, healer will cast celerity, and AT will get on with it's business. Ofcourse that doesn't work when your AT overextends to 5k range and sticks a target till it's dead.
in shamans case free to cast means 2 things, one is that he is free to disease and shear and rupt as much as he wants because he is not needed for healing, his shearing counterparts (cleric and druid) can't shear as much because they are busy doing that oh so trivial thing called HEALING, and it's diseasing counterparts (eld/caba) are usually on the top of the AT target list. Second is that it is not a primary target, well obviously you have never played in an AT against mid, sure you can take down shaman first... If you get a perfect mez, DI is not active and healers don't use purge.

About that BD thing...if BD pets are implemented and they'll be op like svg, I won't QQ, cause that would be just TOO MUCH - I'd quit. Let mids play with themselves.
