They do a lot of adding in the army. They're totally noob.

Seriously, I'm just imaging two enemy groups, having a hard house-to-house-fighting, with lots of deaths on both sides. Suddenly the artillery fires and someone yells ADDER!!! and everyone throws their weapons away and start making love to each other.

I think the problem of Adding is not the ADD itself but the low RvR population again, If there are only 1-2 groups to fight and someone zerg or add that groups will leave and RvR is off for everione. Solucion: Bring more people for RvR in the moment that you have enemys to play most people don't care about adds. You can be agree or not with add but having enemys to play the problem becomes really small.

but all this yelling and flaming imho is one of the things that keeps people away from agramon because they, surprisingly, don't WANT to be yelled at, whether they can ignore it or not

in the BGs people just form groups and kill whatever enemy there is, sometimes this keeps going even though one side has twice the amount of players than the others but eventually the proportions switch and you have even numbers or even the "smaller" realm turns into the "bigger" one

yes, sometimes it stops after 2-3 incs but to be honest, if you have an 8v8 and one side loses 3 times in a row, chances are pretty high that some people log off, causing it to end anyways

so, why do people in BGs seem to care less about "adding" than in agramon? why do outnumbered mids or hibs or albs come back even though they seem to have no chance? and what is so different to agramon? the levels, yes, the amount of people able to log to agramon? hardly, we all know there's a huge number of lvl 48, 49, 50 characters on the server
so it's probably the attitude problem

but since i actually only wanted to see if Staff had something to say about this i'm not gonna contribute to this any more even though, except for a few posts, this has stayed a very objective discussion, something i am very happy about :)

i for my part add when i see a fight (with my scout)...

why?

because i stay or run around for hours and send informations about the enemys..to keep my realm well informed..and for this duty i think i deserve some Rp aswell..and somehow the past proofed me right..i got no yell at all after adding.
sure i asked if they minded my inc or not if one group is my realm..if they would say yes i would not add anymore but also would stop to sent informations.

in alb we got this DONT ADD problem for over 2 years...somehow the screamer disappeared or stopped to scream in the last 6 months (at least in the time i am on).

also i would like to see moderated /b-channel..
i miss my Lady....

I remember some evening with a real nice RvR action. Both albs and mids won and lost on like equal times, had very much fun, made like 30k RPs lin like two hours.
I don't think think those evenings are possible anymore. Happens a lot after the first fight with adders that someone gets an IRC query saying something along the lines of "okay, we're off now, zerg sucks".

And about that solo-adding thing... It's something differnet whether a fg adds or a single stealther class. That lonesome Minstrel can be figured out easily and is down in like no time, when an fg adds the fight is decided.

Whats the point in adding anyway, or is it just me that I dont see it?

Not to add could be a form of respect, like make /rude at dead enemy. If you don't want to do it ok, but if someone does it to you don't come in forum/chat cryng :D

If you want 8 vs 8 perfect fights then go in some istance 8vs8 server (no, you won't do it because you LIKE when you add or kill smaller groups too :D)

There aren't enough players to seperate fair play players and zerg players. Every side has to live with the other one, or do something else.

Broadcast for everyone from 50s was made to get more people in Agramon.

If you want to ban for broadcasting please tell us which broadcasts are banable. In the last days there were bans which weren't in the rules yet.

Of cause you can do what you want on your server, but the servers aim is to be people centred, so make clear what is legal or illegal here.

i dont think that a line can be drawn here but erveryone should know were the line is .

Maybe, staff has to tell us, but atm there is no need of ban for anyone because there was no rule (of cause) - we 'll see if this will be no barricade to the staff ...

Just use your common sense and everything is fine.

But they are a part of it, and it's not the very very very small minority you always want them to seem.

Just be nice to each other and you are on the safe side. Is this so hard? Simply dont fool other players.
If you need to do so cause you think its funny, and then, you even try to fool the staff, you're in danger.

Yes, the server is community centred.
