I had the luck to participate in the fight yesterday. And i had fraps with me, so i made vid out of it. Because of the fact i had no time for doing cutting, fading etc it is quite long but i hope you enjoy it.

This is the vid in good quali but it is 130MB in size so i am working currently on a smaller one(just quality reduction no editing). so for those who have no bandwith have to wait a little bit longer

Very nice! You have to upload it to YouTube or something like that. Also the music is quite nice.

Nice vid there. I liked the last fight, a nice example why I love DAoC.

Btw. Shorten the fragments in the beginning and so where Mids are just running. Saves some bandwith.

@maidrion as i said before i had no time to much editing and as i don't have much time next days it was more important to me to release the vid short after the fight than to make a perfekt vid .

this video has a lower quality but it is "only" 70 mb in size.
more compression lead to crappy quality.

@kuxi the vid is on the way to YouTube this moment. dunno how long it takes to confirm it from youtube side.

@Jinchilla i only wanted to have more time for caming .

k video(2 vids as it had to be splitted) is now on youtube. unfortunaly the reprocessing of you tube had some impact on quality.

was fun to watch the average mid playing a caster.

i was playing the lowest utility caster in the game at that evening (ice wizz, ava w/o cloak in the vid). and i swear to god i was using my complete arsenal of spells (except the green single dot^^) - snare nukes , root - single+aoe snare + single/aoe resist debuff nuke + pbaoe at least 3 times at the last fight in the vid to protect clerics and the other wizzy , just that our already outnumbered group survives.

all you do is running close to the enemy till you see a red name ,hit next target butten and spam lifetap till either him or you dies.
in those 20 minutes i saw ONE root, your rr5 + moc . a sm is midgards toolbox caster nr1 - no other class in mid can get even close to its utility.
and yyour not doing anything at all - that retarded dwarf runie next to you did a thousand times better job than you do during the whole 20 minutes.

you die and what do you do ? the exact same crap as before - charge in till you see a red name - hit next target and spam lifetap ... just that you use a manapot before.

The video is really well made. The music fits nice to the fighting. I think this fights would make a good ad for uthgard.

To the two poster above: Who cares if you use just 'next target' + anytimer/nuke. If it works for some realm quite well, why not .

i didn't say this is an uber roxxer vid at any point. i only wanted to show the action of this day.
but if you are now feeling better seeing me not playing at full attention i think i have done something good .
Some small minded have their fun, other can see what is possible on uthgard and i just ignore the comments i knew they would come from

Ohh /Worship Salbei /worship Salbei ... Enough? It's so common that actitude of <I'm the best rest are noobs> in this kind of games... In such zerg stay at range and kill nearest targets assisting maybe is simple and efective.
