Blue, I mentioned the same problem. I don't know if it is a problem that
occurs because the monster is charmed (monster status) or just the fact
that the monster attacks a monster - ok that sound confusing.

I just need an admin to reset my account PW for my minstrel (Aische)
and I'm going to do some testings, but to give a short example:

1) charm a centurion warder in lyonesse (~lvl56)
2) attack a pygmy goblin
3) let a centurion warder attack yourself

-> You will see that the centurion (the only monster worth charming in lyo
due to decent dmg ~150dmg vs pygmys^^) will do around identical dmg
even though a pygmy goblin should be an easy picking for a centurion,
because it is lvl56 monster VS lvl42?.
If a lvl42player attacked a for example lvl56drakulv he would die in around
2-3hits. Thats the phenomenon.

With regards
Sethor

I did a couple of test with my sorcerer (L50) and charmed mobs. I started with mobs that con grey to me.
First I let they fight equal level mobs. My large Skeletton managed to kill 3 equal level large Skelettons. Both the charmed one and the target mob seems to hit for the same amount of damage (7-9) and seems to take the same number of hits. But the difference was that the targeted mob seems not to be able to hit the charmed mob although they where equal level. Which my pet hits every time the targeted mobs seems to hit about every second or third hit even.
After that i let a lower level charmed mob (level 2 wild sow) fight a higher level mob (level 4 zombie sow). This time the targeted mob hits for about twice as much as my charmed one. But still the charmed mob managed to bring him down to 10 % as he managed to hit every time while the higher level mob keept missing 13 of 22 hits.
I did some more fights of a charmed mob against an equal level twin. All were won by my pet due to the fact he never misses while his twin misses quite often. The missrate seems to lower the highter the level ob the pet and mob is. A mob that cons green to my sorc hardly miss. Still my pet beats him with 32 % rest life.
With blue pets there were hardly a difference in hit miss rate between pet and mob equal levels. I had no time to test yellow mobs. Or orange with my mistrel but i will do tomorrow.

@ Nayru: I want casting mobs, but I don't want them in frontiers till every summoning pet class is with their full potencial.
@ Sethor: I have a lv 21 sm in braemar with 0% resist, a red mob makes me 16-18 dmg and I have 300 hits. I think mob dmg is a bit low (but at higher levels the difference is samller to me)
@ Sethor 2: With old old patches sm pets procced a stun like air theurg pets, unluckily at 1.72 immunity timer was changed >< http://support.darkageofcamelot.com/kb/ ... php?id=770

Don't u all think this is a bit trivial when for example the hib animist doesn't even have pets yet (at least last time i checked) let the admins keep their own tempo and be pleased with the great progress they make, and the pets u allready have.

With kind regards, Maerlon
