I just started stealth RVR yesterday and it is really fun!

Had some awesome fights already, but I noticed that without buffs, you are basically screwed haha !

How do you all maintain your money with buffing?

By the way, what do you guys think of making this the Stealth masterthread? Back in the days we had such a thread, was always fun to read after duels etc. !

I've been zerged so many times by trash SB players that I give it up and don't play anymore.

It's not really fun to roam around 2 hrs looking for a fair1v1, waste so many pots and then get zerged by a 5man sb/hunter trash zerg.

If they were so trash you wouldn't be killed would you? In the end it is always the same, someone starts a small group, others make the group bigger to counter, and so it is like a pendulum. If people think getting a minstrel into a stealth group is wise, then mids have to counter that in order to not only get farmed. Same thing actually with non-stealth RVR.

Stealthers isn't just 1v1 fun unfortunately, I still remember that from 15 years ago, when I was only going solo !

Tell me how I am supposed to kill them if, as soon as I inc someone, I get PA'd by 3 other shadowblades?

Most nights there're basically no infiltrators online, maybe just Mordouce, yet If i go to the MMG I end up finding the trash SB/Hunter zerg and nothing else.
Sometimes they also have a grouped shaman hidden somewhere.
Same thing goes for hibs, ranger+NS zerg with bard.

Well, that sucks. What I experienced so far, is help if someone dies, but no adding besides that. Dont give up, maybe just had bad timing !

They are a lot of sbs that are not adding fights at amg. And beside that, if you want 1v1 fight they are other places to go. Uppland is the best I found, even if you'll get hunted after some kills. Cruachan gorges is also nice if you can cross amg without being zerged.

I run most of the time solo to the point my guildmates come online. But even when we group and be like 2 or 3 man, i never have the feeling that outzerg the other realms, because mordeuce + adds, or Morrslieb +adds, are always outnumbering us

Even when Instacrit and i grouped at 3am last night, there was Jerk and Psylocke in a 4 man ns group^^

On hotspots like the amg, we are somtimes 4-5 solo sbs, who are afraid to don*t get a part of the rp-cake, so we attack everthing that moves.

But i understand the 1vs1 attitude and i am a supporter of it, but as soon as someone breaks the code it all falls apart.

Hell i mean, there is an infi that messaged me in irc after me and a hunter killed him. He wished me and my wife to die in pain and sickness. At this point i feel very sorry for this 1vs1 menthality

Getting zerged is part of the game. Deal with it. If you notice a zerg, change spot/fz or whatever.

I consider myself a solo player and get a decent of amount of 1v1 action, be it stealthers or ppl at the pk. Of course Messj (and his whole zerg of lemmings) will add the ****** outa everything that moves, while the same goes for Mordouce (who if solo, will even hide from 1vs1 in order to wait for a chance to add). And I'm sure there are also Hib Stealthers who do the exact same thing.

You just gotta chalk that up as part of the game. If it makes them happy, all is fair in war. I don't enjoy adding onto a fight to leech 250rp or so, so I don't do it. Yet I don't have any right to expect it of others (even though it is still mildly infuring, especially if it happens 5min after you visibly did not add that person).

After all it all comes down to this:

Don't hate the player, hate the game. And if you don't enjoy it, quiit.

Jerk here.. was basically same thing.. me and Psylocke were grouped and the other stealthers were there.. If going to AMG.. expect to have more than 1 stealther there honestly.. youre not getting a solo fight all the time on a server this new.. fun fights tho.. and screw that true sight ;p
