[/quote] ![]() ![]() These are nice made up excuses after riding the (also exaggerated) mid hype train when the total opposite was proclaimed. ![]() ![]() I claim that every realm can beat every realm (8v8), if tactics are consequently adjusted to the enemies grp composition and your own group setup actually makes sense ![]() Yes, also in 1.65...Needs some hours practice though, to be able to recognize the ennemies group-composition during the first casts in a fight and then turn the tactics switch of all group members accordingly...A big reason why high RRs do better is in many cases only secondary the RAs and mainly combat experience |

Speed and snares are bugged here. I haven't made an issue tracker for either because it's too difficult to provide acceptable evidence without having a live account, or having access to midgard on this server at the current time. Speed pulse does not drop/refresh on uthgard the same way it does on live. Sorry I can't log onto a live account and run 100 tests to find out specifically what is different in every scenario, but it acts much different on uthgard. Here's what I posted in another thread. Speed being bugged: "On mid if you run green pac healer speed, yellow aug speed, skald speed, you pick up speed pulses in order of slowest to fastest. You don't get skald speed like you should when it ticks. Obviously this means you are running slower than you should be a lot of the time, which is bad for mid groups who usually need to push. This bug is related to the bug on beta where you could stack speed pulses. Whoever fixed that bug, broke speed pulse in the opposite direction. It seems like they coded it so that it checks your current speed, and if a higher one is available, it adds the smallest available buff to you, so it takes multiple checks to get skald speed buff." On Snares being bugged: Melee snares should not be a 60% snare for the entire duration. Snare value starts to "fade" halfway through, the same way root (which is a 99% snare) does not stay 99% for the entire duration, you start to slowly gain speed as the timer counts down. Again, I do not have a live account to provide evidence. I am also not interested in searching through 100 old videos to find a clip that properly displays this, so I just grabbed a clip from one of my videos that (briefly) shows it. <Telus>

a live test account does not cost anything and u can create it withing 10sec. I just logged in on live and made a snare test to capture the fading for proof, but had some problems with OBS recording. It doesnt fade on uthgard thats correct. So just make a 2 test acc record it, publish it in the bug tracer and done. Got to know about the bug, did the test and would ve made the bug report with 30min of my time if the recording worked. I dont see how ppl can complain about it if they know it for weeks and not just do a bug report instead. |

I just wonder when we will get the gamebreaking combat flag problem fixed, which is a huge ****** issue of people not getting speed, being able to mcl, having to release their pets.
But you mid push groups don't know anything of this :^) |

what would be the point? we reported the amnesia/speed thing. Top even clarified it further. you say its invalid. i say it isnt. fact is i know im right. it may not be a bug related to amnesia directly but with speed pulses like Top said but its definitaly not working livelike at all. the fact that you succumbed to that vid in the issue tracker is just ridiculous. has the possibility that he tried it 100 times till it finally for once didnt insta drop so he could record it and post it as "proof" even ever crossed your mind? no ofc not. it does infact not insta drop speed once in like 100+ attempts that doesnt make it working properly tho. the opposite should actually be the case, 1 out of 100 times it drops speed instantly cos it randomly timed out perfectly with the speed pulse. but you dont even seem to know that snares are supposed to fade just like roots do. this is absolute basic daoc 101 fyi. just like charmed pets are supposed to walk back to their spawn after their owner has been killed. on uthgard they actually behave like a normal mob and attack whatever is highest on their agro list. this is gamebreaking fyi. how could you possibly get something as fundamental as this wrong?. that beeing said i do have respect for the work you have put into this and having quite abit of programming experience myself i do know what massive effort this is and how easy things can go in unexpected ways but your way of tracking/fixing bugs is the most ineffective thing ive ever seen. 90% of the ppl up/down voting issues have zero clue what is actually correct and just vote the way that suits them best. just ask the players that actually know what they talking about aka the ones that have been top 0.1% of the playerbase for the last 15 years how stuff is actually supposed to work when you´re uncertain and you will get competent answers. dont make it a public thing where ppl who havent played the game in 10 years are allowed to voice their opinions on things they have absolutely zero clue about. you wouldnt ask your plumber for advice when your TV is broken either, would you? I literally logged in, got myself amnesiaed once, uploaded it. As someone who plays a bard quite often, and relies on speed breaking with amnesia every single fight, its pretty easy to ****** notice, that speed doesnt instantly drop every single inc.
Maybe if you weren't such a ****** ****** pac, you would try to use amnesia yourself, and tada, notice, it doesn't cut speed instantly every single time. But I guess even looking at your screen while you run in spamming all instas randomly with tab targetting is too much to ask for nowadays by selfproclaimed prodigys. Then you guys keep crying about it, even though every other single person outside of the losboys club says otherwise about amnesia, without producing a single ****** video of it even instantly breaking. |

Amnesia is fine, stop complaining about things that are implemented correctly.
There is even video proof by zai... If you think something is wrong, make a test account (10sec of work) log in on Pendragon, record it make a bug report and done. Thats how things are handled on a proper shard like Uthgard. If you dont want to invest that time feel free to live with it. |

You´re an idiot.. You do realize that all realms do this right? ****** moron. Ya,mid have 1500 range end.. Which is a conc buff, so no Mid group, unless they run alot of charges, are fully buffed.. Jsut to name an example. Go away. Buller, 50 Shaman

ok i knew you are a full blown retard but this post is over the top even for your standards. 1) i call bullshit on that 1st try claim cos its blatantly obvious that it insta breaks speed 99% of the time if not more. 2) im not even pac which just shows how little you actually know. 3) ur complete nonfactor trash. 4) there is plenty of vids showcasing it. we made a few ourself but im not the one to share them to little insects like you. ask top/deekay for links. both have made quite long ones that should showcase it plenty of times or maybe that was before hibs got 3 power relics and refused to rvr? anyways booted aka the only hib grp that deserves any form of respect on this server did play so there should be quite a few clips showing it anyway. selenus also posted a vid from actual live servers from 2003 that showcase how its supposed to work in the issue. now crawl back to your hole and be quiet while ppl that are actually good at this game discuss things you have obviously zero clue about. if you get your head out of your ass and listen you might actually learn a thing or two. Well, since this escalated quickly I think it is time to lock this topic.
