Keth, you as well! I hope everyone is enjoying Uthgard. Mordred will always be where the elite of the elite 8v8'd. Perfect balanced groups and a cut-throat environment that only those who actually ran hib loop, can relate to. That's why the top players of Uthgard are all Mordred players.

Anyways, regardless of your opinion, let's get some more 8v8 going here for NA Prime. We constantly run, and notice a huge lack of fights. Euro Prime is fine, but NA Prime is lacking! Let's get some fights, and get them recorded! I can start a database if need be, but let's get some of these competitive juices flowing!

#1 thing I learned this time around in DAOC (i.e. like 8th total since 2001?) is this: slow down and let 50 happen. For example, some nights you'll get groups that will literally shoot your bar towards 50, level after level. Other nights you may log in and not be able to move your bar even .1 bubs. It's just how it is - accept it. Go do real life stuff or play DOTA or something those nights, and don't let it bother you - you will get burned out so fast this way. Trust me, I used to be the guy who would poopsock it to 50 and give myself ulcers when I "wasn't getting anywhere." Having a laid back perspective helps soooooo much.

Also, I am NOT an extrovert or even a real social guy, but I do enjoy quality banter. Letting yourself have a lil chat fun in groups will go a long way to helping the levels fly by. And making connections and friends thru your realmmates will also prove very helpful at 50.

Lastly, focus on making cash instead of blasting thru exp - there's nothing worse than being a poor & useless 50. Most people hit 50 looooooong before they have farmed the cash they need to not be a typical scrublord. Make that money - 50 will come as a byproduct.

Anyway, enjoy the journey to 50. I realize how cliche this sounds, but it is so true; and you'll never realize how less painful DAOC leveling can be until you learn it & put it into practice. Hope this helps bro.

You must have bought the Xconll account. The original Xconll was a transfer from Andred onto Mordred, and I showed him this post, thinking it was him.
