would be really fun but it won't happen, devs have already made clear they'd rather see bg's empty rather than make the slightest change in order to revitalize them. i'm not sure how we'd make it active without the proper game changes to facilitate it. any ideas?

Sorry, Uthgard devs are only interested in "custom changes" that screw over players, like the crafting materials merchants nerf.

BGs were cool because you could also level in them rather than enjoy the dull PVE. Sure it was slow xp but at least it was fun.

I don't see a problem here, if devs are stubborn on following 1.65 ruleset, then undo the vendors and other non-1.65 stuff!

Gothi are not the reason the BGs aren't hopping. The reason is most people aren't bothering to mess with them; they are racing to 50 and farming.
