Great idea, but imho the bonuses arent strong enough to convince people that Emain isnt the cool place to be.
Also... why no bonus for attackers?

Speaking from an 8man perspective (which like I said is all the server has at the moment): groups only want a fair fight which is why you won't see much in the way of adding or zerging right now. Having a hold of relics doesn't mean anything to 8 man groups. You can even see that even with hib holding a relic there still hasn't been any groups there. Well, it's minimal to say the least. You could even say that the relic has had zero impact for its realm.

Dont you get a 10% damage bonus for every enemy relic you hold? Is this meaningless for 8men?
In any case, i dont think 8men are enough to keep this server alive and healthy for a long time.

Yea, the whole point in 8v8 is to have a fair fight and see who comes out on top. I'd even go as far to say that many 8mans would rather play the underdog in terms of balance just to add a bit of challenge.

I also don't think that 8man groups are enough to keep the server healthy which is why I campaign day in day out for a wider outlook in regards to casual and solo play.

I have never played Uth 1.0 RvR but from what I heard keep farming was a serious issue back then. I dont know if it is true but some guy told me there were groups who would communicate outside of daoc so for example the alb grp went to hib, raided all keeps, then went to mid and tried to raid keeps. After alb took the keeps the hib group would start taking them back. This person said there were some groups who farmed crazy high RRs with this method within a short period of time. They probably did this because the rvr community was pretty small and already high rr, so newcomers didnt have low RR enemies to farm on and decided to abuse keep raiding to have a chance vs the high RR grps.
Just to mention it again: I dont know if this really happened, someone just told me.

Maybe. Who knows? Who cares? As long as there are people in every frontier right? And the population is flourishing because the incentive to play is there? People can spend their time doing whatever it is they enjoy, even keep bashing for all I care. But if there is nothing to do then people will just quit.

The issue overall has nothing to do with groups, this problem is solely with the Solo community. There will be alot less rangers and nightshades simply because of the run. Myself and my brother have switched to Alb solely because of this run. Id rather send the time sitting on the pad, taking my dog out, grabbing a drink, a snack, whatever. than doing those things and stuff having to run for 15 minutes or so to make it the action to die the same way the orig poster did.

Improve hastener is really good idea, but fo rme .. maybe not enough, but again not sure I guess id have to test it out.

Dissapointing part is this makes it a 2 realm solo server.. or 2.5.. just some thoughts. I know its tough to make custom changes, problem is if you don't make these changes prior to launch, your stuck with your solo community primarily in alb and mid.

I love was Eden did, let hibs port to Bolg(make guards like portal keep level) and dont let them port to D-Crau. On Genesis if they didnt own DC hibs didnt rvr, and lets be real that run is ****** dumb.

Same here. I've searched my soul this past week (okay, maybe that's a bit dramatic) and I love Hibernia, it's easily my favorite realm in every way. I had my mind dead-set on being a Valewalker. But that harsh reality of the run to Emain has turned me Alb. I'll be rolling a traitorous Reaver.

Just being honest. I think I'm not the only one to be swayed away from Hibernia because of the run. Especially solo players. I'm really not even asking for them to do anything about it. They have a vision, of no custom stuff. I respect that.
