Dont add 1v1 (wave to Celteen)/smallmen fights
Dont kill soloers/smallmen grp |
|
This will really help your pugs to perform better ![]() Turn your camera as an offtank, don't overextend. If you are already too far extended because you failed before and would die for sure, run back as far as you can anway so you're atleast rezzable ![]() |
|
yeah give them a chance to add you next inc... ![]() |
|
Since every solo adds, right?
![]() [3:10pm] <myrmidon^> You have to be a c*** to be awesome at daoc
[3:10pm] <myrmidon^> that's what I learnt [3:11pm] <Frosty_> then why does austerim suck

2. Slam Austerim before he do RR5 to run away! ![]() Anyway to stay on topic, 2 things are most importants: - Use of TeamSpeak at least on hearing - Plan your tactic while buffing/roaming instead of go out without any tip of what you should do. (For ex. how split targets or if will be a prekite or what you should start with, etc... if you dont know just ask sameone will tell you ^^) DAoC is mostly a combination of organization (~TS) and positioning (~Roles), point on these two things to improve yourself! There was a time when Uthgard 1.0 existed and maaaany toons and arrpees arose... but now:

fixed ![]() i dont get all these pugs trying to be nice fighters getting farmed by guildgrps then and logging out instead of making some nice bonus rps keeping the pug motivated |
|
Valid argument!

pug pro adding:
wait until at least THREE of the enemy group are down, then rush in and kill TWO more very quick/using all possible RA so there should be no chance to turn the fight ![]() ![]() ![]() [12:46] <Roundhouse_> actualy galandriel and blackbeard the master challenges out on heavytanks [23:52] <Skarz> u are best skald i seen for long time |
|
edit: nvm..
|
|
the most important part is to instantly drop aog 3 when assisting one player with 5 melees ![]() |

To complete the DG Tips : when gaining ranks, you can start to add 8v8 when only TWO of the enemies are down. With a full group of 10-12L, you can wait for ONE down only, but still avoid adding while all ennemies are alive or you will rip and have to put a video of this on the forum with QQ about cross realmers. ![]() RIP : Ectoplasme

To talk about NoStressFR, well no Realm Rank, no Skill and even failing in Adding, you could learn something from DG in that points ![]()

|
True, but my guild mates never listen to me, they always add too early ![]() RIP : Ectoplasme

I'm currently participating in boring PvM so i have some time to spend:
1. Have the courage to tell your pugmembers what they did wrong if you definitely know what they have been doing wrong. Some of them will be personally offended but even then: when they do the same mistakes again and again, and are reminded of those mistakes by different people, they might try to change something about it eventually. 2. The grp consists of 8 members, so no one is to blame alone. Even if you don't get blanket mezz on cc class or you overextend on your offtank, the fight can still be won. 3. Never give up! You don't need to die against the same grp for more than 2 times, but if you just leave without a word you won't achieve anything but being hated and/or excluded from future pugs. Run at least twice to get used to the others. Also, if you die against the same grp for more than 2 times you might want to consider changing the zone. 4. Learn the enemy classes by heart: if you don't know what your opponents are able to throw back at you, you won't have a chance to start preventive measures. 5. If you are a casual player: concentrate on two rvr toons. It's nice to be flexible but if you look at the grps that run daily in emain and with the current RA system it's more important to have a toon that may not 100% fit into the perfect setup but has some RA goodies to dump. 6. (for dying guilds): You have a guild that did RvR on a regular basis but many of your guildmates left due to the recent changes on Uthgard? Merge with other guilds that correlate with your style of handling things the most. For example on Hibernia there was a bunch of guilds that are now united under <Mystical Knights> and seem to have a healthy player base now. That's all for now. ![]() Last edited by epo on Nov 25, 2013 22:49, edited 1 time in total.
