Thane is by far the most OP solo class
go for it

Edit: I take that back, Valewalkers aren't far behind

Both classes are really nice but I'd say reaver is much more rewarding in solo play. You lose less time getting to AMG, your character can actually finance the template since reavers are a part of any raid(as stated already), you still have your insta rupts(same as thane) for archers/casters and you have access to two different damage types(keep in mind you can literally choose + dmg against anything at AMG except midgard chain, on which you hit neutral). I'd say reaver will be much more fun once you master the strafing. Thane is a beast, but also you heavily rely on active RA's to win many fights, and on low rr purge 2 is not really that good. I've seen some reavers win fights against 2-3 rangers with no problem. I still remember Skarz chain killing Hercules on rr4-5, it's a joke what that class can do when played by a good player.

"He was concerned only with the naked fundamentals of life. The warm intimacies of small, kindly things, the sentiments and delicious trivialities that make up so much of civilized men's lives were meaningless to him. A wolf was no less a wolf because a whim of chance caused him to run with the watch-dogs. Bloodshed and violence and savagery were the natural elements of the life Conan knew; he could not, and would never, understand the little things that are so dear to civilized men and women."

haha that what birnalb tell u ? hahahaha newsflash : ME > moonwalk, its just very anoying.

and for anyone interested in some tips / advice on this thread, read what ivann wrote, reaver is not so much of a cooldown fighter, where as a thane not only requires a pretty high rr to get all their abilitys they need 10-15 mins per fight. it is true that on paper thane should win, but there is ALWAYS a variable. an element of luck can change a fight very quickly.

in terms of farming, reavers are wanted in PVE for almost everything. but thanes are rarely used for high end raid/boss's. but atleast a thane doesnt need to save for a 100p s/c charge item like everyone else.

So i would say Thane isn't that much OP i had already many duels against Thanes and if both of us were fullbuffed they never won a fight against me. But there are some guys out that are nearly impossible for me but easy for the Thanes, every class have good and bad things so i won't say Reaver/Thanes are that much OP. You just need to find their weakness!

So there are not that many decent Thanes out. I killed guys like Alhric very often in duels but only if we both were fullbuffed(charges etc)
And you forgot the Warrior is Cathsy 8) :D
