let's say you have two groups, one wants to do 8v8 without adds, the other one wants to do the "right way" of RvR. If we want to get our way without adding we can... ask them. Should they decide not to listen, there is nothing we can do. If they want to have their way they will add and force it.

And now I can get banned also?

No Poplik, people won´t get banned for adding since Uthgard is a RvR server. Whenever you enter the frontiers you have to face that risk!

It´s as simple as that.

To make it clear again, preventing others from participating in RvR is a bannable offense.

Another point I make clear here is that intentionally breaking mezz repeatedly to support the enemy can be penalized with a timed ban too. The realm is there to work together against the enemy, not against own realm mates.

I have np with this being enforced. I've always been a firm believer of realm v realm. I have been zerged over before, and I have zerged on occasion. Ironically after this change I happily took advantage of a clear violation.

If I'm fighting someone 1v1 and someone happens along I can't really expect them to stay out. It has happened to me before where the reverse has happened and their realm has decided to join in.

ofc you can kill 2grps with 1 grp if they are badly organized etc. but still think of my first sentence. zerg doesn't benefit the rvr population, it kills it.

i want fun blue, which i define in challenge. the times where you liked to zerg are over for long time already. you know your oponents as good as your friends, why would you zerg your friends. makes no sense.

this change got nothing to do with livelike or not. so i don't agree on this one.

i don't get where you see anything about force people to add in this new rules... all that is forbidden now for you is to call them lame adder when they add and for them to call you coward traitor when you draw out of a fight and let them die.

If you tell a player "stop zerg" or "stop add" you are not preventing someone from "participating". No one can do something to stop anyone. You're just telling the truth: "You are an adder, you are showing no respect for both your enemies and realm mates."

Yes, some people like to add or have fun ruining others fun, how can be considered offensive if you are just telling them that they are what the choose to be?! Now if you tell them "hey you adder!" you are bannable, it's like to be lialbe to fine because you said "hey blonde!" to a girl who coloured his hair in blonde.

Who would think its a joke? Trying to stop others from fighting realm enemies can be banned, yes. If you do it politely it will be ok UNTIL you get reported.

It can't be that new players are discouraged to attack enemies by old players who know their enemy. Don't expect RvR population to improve with that closed society behaviour.

Ok, that's fine then, i think everyone agree that. But in news, examples are harder.

@Akip : zerg is the only way to RvR for casual player not fan of optimization. There's not enough zerg in Emain, that's why there so many people in BG and xp. Just have a look on the success of zerg events. If this zerg events become a weekly event, it will surely global increase RvR activity.

I'm not against zerg, but not zerging opponent is just a matter of fair-play ! That's same thing in every game, even real game, when you are clearly stronger, u can be fair and do something to balance.
Do u know this concept : fair-play ???
