rofl, i am clearly the last to say this... but start to play the game instead of program it. Archer LOS was a bug on live that got fixed. Why you implement it and try sell it as a feature is beyond me

Your healers are perama rupted and you have no chance to get the ranger aggro another target. This is no problem if you get no inc, as they do nearlry 0 dmg. But as soon you have inc your healers can do nothing... as we noticed today. And try to kill them on the 1 spot where you have LOS on the archer is impossible, while they never stop to shoot the healers. |

So old live bugs are features now? Please make it so pets can chase stealthed enemies.

Sorry this is not old you can test it on live servers V1.112. Its still the case. We made videos of it. Edit: That pets don't follow stealthers is a customization and can be reverted at any time if we decide so. It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

yes its stupid yesterday after the 2fg action we killed some guards at holstens keep my pet got attacked from the archer guards (not sure if bad luck or pets somehow attackable for the archer guards anyway cause they have no clear altitude), i healed the pet and went to the keep gate as i'm usually out of los than. screw this ![]() ![]() |

Yeah, the perma aggro on healing classes once aggro is switched and the inability to then eliminate the targets is garbage. At least have the aggro reset when you go out of range. You can run out of range and when you come back they are right back on you as it is now. Wouldn't that at least be a viable option for the aggro to reset if you go out of range? |

Running out of range does not immediately clear aggro. Theres a timer before mobs stop to target you.
I think the main problem is that some archer guards (mostly Lurikeen) have no easy LOS to players and can't be attacked easily. The intention is you clear the archers first and then concentrate on other stuff. It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

Ok, maybe then just lower the timer? I know I was outta range for some minutes and still maintained aggro after coming back. What is the current timer before it will reset? I understand the reason for implementation, but as it is now it has changed one aspect of the game kind of negatively it seems. It just doesn't (at least to me), to seem right to have healing classes who weren't in los of archers take all the aggro through the walls without anyway to clear it in any kind of timely manner.....but maybe thats just me? Edit for added response: Or yes, if the intention is to clear the archers first, which is reasonable, then allowing them to be targeted would go along way in helping as well........Firbold, Troll and Half Ogre archers only? |

So we should remove all NPCs from keeps so they can easily walk in with no defense? Read the forums about complains how easy keeps are and how difficult to defend. That change didn't come to our head suddenly. Its not our idea to be honest. We analyzed the AI behaviour on live servers before. There are more details which will change there but it will come bit after bit. With your theory we couldn't make anything more live like on Uthgard. So they will also leave when mob damage is fixed and what not. It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.

make archers run than idk so they follow you to the edge of the wall so you can target them else its pretty stupid to get one in view they can shoot you and you cant see them. the keepwall should have one fixed altitude where the archers can walk on or?

Most archers don't move, same as wizards. The LOS problems will be fixed by not using Lurikeens and such. But that was already said. It's done when it's done. Thanks for your patience.
