XP-Bonus for holding keeps indeed only gives the strong realms even bigger advantages.

With the actual system you can intercept incoming groups, too. So how does a better keep change that?

Pana has pointed out the problem very well: we need to get the people to Emain. But what are the problems? First we have the lvl 50 player. Most of them want only make RvR, thus they don’t have any interest to claim keeps. For them is better not to posses them, because the possibility of framing lvl grps from other realms or hunting in DF. Second we have the lower players who want to lvl in Emain. But here the problem is once an enemy realm grp (high lvl) killed them they are leaving because they don’t have a chance.

Therefore we need some attractions for the high lvl grps to claim the keeps, maybe a higher RP-Bonus. Another idea is e.g. introducing some RvR-Quests or kill tasks for them, but only if they posses the keeps. This quests could be rewarded with some items or only fun for them.

The second point is we should involve lower lvl players also into the battle. They should have a chance; at least they should play a key role for higher lvl chars for completing the quests for example. Or they have their own quests, resulting in some kind of help for the lvl 50 players. The idea is to enforce the cooperation between lvl 50 and lower lvl chars.

This way we could have much more player in Emain. Ok it is a lot of overhead I know, but could bring some fun to Uthgard.

I agree with Gothmog's analysis of the problem, but I don't think his suggestion would be good. Force someone to play together with Highlvl/lowlvl Chars? I cannot imagine the Community would accept that.

But RvR quests in general would bring people to emain. How about a quest "conquer tower xy in the next 10 Minutes and defend it it for 30 Minutes". Perhaps during that quest the targets could change, you have some triggered MOB-attacks (additionally to the Albs trying to do same quest  ) etc.. I think the developers do know how to make it an adventure themselves.
