an alliance could be the first step to unite albion
i'm open for all suggestions

just keep in mind, if we want this to work we should use english as main language cause a lot of albion players are non german

i know there have been problems with united end french blades...
lillian was very sad when french blades got mad because she joined the "big" alliance and broke up with them without discussing it first...

i think this is another time, and i'm fed up wit albion loosing players and battles, this is a game and a game should be fun for all the players..

so as i sayd, i'm open for suggestions, we have a guild of non german players, allied with another guild of non german players, so if we get into an alliance, we want to be understood, and to understand what is going on.

i disbanded numerous times just because the grp i was in refused to use english and kept on using german, i want to spare my guildies tis ordeal.

just my 2 cents
monty

the reason why french/untited blades choose to not join the "great alliance" was that there were 2 alliances on albion and joining one of the 2 alliances would be spliting albion more again. it was my opinion and explained my way of thinking to guild mates that agreed with me for most of them.

now if situation is different and if this alliance is not a way to get more people on his side. if it s just to get albion more united and powerfull i think there would not be problem. we just need agreeing of everybody and no things like "they are to noobs"

yeah,i know sometimes ppl dont stop talking german, if there are non-germans abord.even im speaking german sumtimes in party, but, mostly to discuss rl-things without any connection to the game ;) ( last time we had scifi-books and kohlrouladen g) if the topics are gamerelated,i even urge the ppl to speak englisch, and if they cant, i ve got no problem to translate the stuff. but as i wrote, there are german players who dont understand any english, and leave the partys if they have to read it (wave to nachtfalken ;) ) i cant speak hungarian, italien or polish [how good sils eng isnt the badest g] et mon francais est tres mal ;) but as i said, here the guilds should maybe work together to put sum english into their guildies.

HOW can making 1 big alliance break up albion ?
Really , thats like the most stupid thing i ever heard :/
Uniting Albion = Splitting it ? éh ?!

I liked the idea of one big allie much, but you guys wouldve just been chit chatting in German all the time, so if you want us to join , talk english.

as u may have seen, there are mostly nongermans posting here atm ;) and im not in any guild,or ally,so i guess u should calm down;)

if there is a need for a big ally, then u should maybe discuss the topic "english first" as maintarget for the allychat? dunno where u see any probs, most ppl who can talk english will stick to english if they are urged to.and allychat is not the place to discuss rl-topics.

i cant see why there should be a problem concerning the language in the ally chat.
of course there is a lot of german written in it but when english talking ppl are there and write in it ,the chat usually automaticly turns into english or half and half.

in mid there are also ppl which dont understand german, germans who dont understand english, ppl who refuse to write in english and ppl who dont write at all :?
but the ally still works perfect

won't you albis just try it out for a while and make all of albion one ally you'll see how much fun it is and how much it helps for rvr and everything else

We even have non-german speaking players in our guild and it works.

I would have no problem with an mostly english ally chat.
If then someone asks for grp etc. only in german its just bad for him because in english the chance is higher for him to get an answer :P

I also think that, if ppl would then talk something german in grp or ally chat most of the time its not important for the game, but something funny etc. that they only know how to say it in german

i haven't seen much english on irc, but to be honest i don't use it often...
irc+daoc=linkdead

ok i'm a noob, i don't have teamspeak (i bought a headphone with mike)

i still have to learn how to use macro's
i play simple chars like armsman(woman) and friar(s)

i just love this game cause it 's supposed to be played with others
and if there is one thing i can do, it's bringing people together and let them have fun...

so that's what i try to do

all the problems we had on albion must be wiped out
there is only one thing we can do to survive...
forget our pride, forget the things that have been said or done...
just come together, form a stron alliance, be openminded for others good advice and start having a load of fun together....

i'm not asking all of you to join the united blades  we have a small but very pleasant guild, a bunch of friend doeing crazy things together but supporting each other to the max...

but if most of you think an alliance could work, lets talk about it, send me your veto's, your griefs, your happy thoughts and i will answer all of you personely...i'll even try to neociate between guilds if necessary.

and remember: THINK HAPPY THOUGHTS!!!!! (peter pan)

things that don't kill you make you stonger!!

don't leave albion, just stay and work with me to make us the 1337 real we used to be

daddy monty
(presto plz help me out on this  )

@topa

if setting up a forum and starting events is your idea of uniting albion, i'm happy with it

if starting a forum and starting events in the german part of it, and then ****** me off because i have the nerve to ask you why you didn't post it in english so the non german players could come and have part of it is your idea of uniting albion....

sorry, this just makes me mad...

are you joking? or just plain ****???

have fun, i had enough of this crap
