First 4,30 minutes of the video are the best, but latter are still much more interesting than the stuff you usually get to see from uthgards players!

The intro is way too long, it got boring after about a minute. The music does not really fit into the fight situations. But apart from that I really like your editing skills. Keep it going :)

Vomi, your sticky Thread is a good beginning, but not the optimum imo.
I have already mentioned it there.

An extra Section between Tutorials/Events/Bans or Polls would be the Best, which has two good Reasons:

1st: The rvr section stay free of unnecessary topics ==> more clearly in the rvr area.

2nd: There are many Players who only once in the Week or rare look into the Forum. The Chance the good Videos slide down in the RvR Area is large,- and will never found by that ppl.

In every established Daoc Forum from the live Servers was a own Vid Area,- i think on 4p or daoc-forum.de R.I.P :?

So i think that should not be a Problem.

So Nixian/Camulos, think about it :!:

greetings

mfassben wrote:Video is nice, some good fights :) Just one question, are you an enemy of strafing? Landing sidestuns can be pretty convenient for Skalds, since the only other stun style you have is the after parry, and that won´t land to often.Rest is ok (bit to much clicking but nvm ^^), and the intro is pretty well made ;)

Im not exactly a strafe enemy, but I dont do it cause its not worth the 2 sec stun on sidestyle ;) The afterparrystun is 2 sec too. I use my shield with the imba-blockrate on uthgard for the afterblock stun chain, but doesnt work that well vs. DW ^^

Oh, so when someone clearly admit's he's bugabusing nobody complains, but when someone simply plays his char well in a way that's not familiar to some of us, everyone does...

I'm not trying to put emphasis on the way you play your char or anything, just the striking fact that when people get defeated by something that takes actual skill to master, they start accusing people of bugabuse, whereas bugabuse itself (ok, it's very minor :P) isn't even paid attention to.

Ah well, nice vid, liked the editing and some good fights in there for sure. I know it's been said but yea, the scratches were .. oh well, you know!

I was entertained and I guess that's what matters :)

This video shows 2 things:

1) 1vs1 is daoc is soooooo boring lol

2) shield block rates are bugged

I like the editing though

Watched it and though I have to say the music wasn't very pleasing to my ears sometimes the quality was amazing for 300MB for 15minutes.
Also I smiled when you hit that infi with an anytimer for 574 and the Armsman hits you with pole for 164 or something. Ye I know armour resis, buffs and the infi had only 17% crush resist or so but still ^^
