well , i think all alb stealther with a black gear are KOS for most of ppl playing here xD

Black adders grps plus some other stealther ruin so many fights every day , what do you expect ?


Look at Bevi , when he plays solo , he never add and i think he has much fun cause he can have fair 1n1 fights most of the time.

And ramboz i doubt you killed this mid pug with the 4 man grp u had this day , or mb u managed to kill them by adding one of their fights vs hibs or other albs (as usual i would say )


U got a different point of vue avout rvr and what is "fair" , i dont like adders but i deal with it , so you should try to deal with ppl who hates you and your way of rvr.

1st video is the Shame of Alb and the "Fair" behaviour.
Try to tell me what is Fair,when you let die your realm mates in a fight of 4L pug VS 10 guild team...
Albs just feed hibs/mids with their behaviour and that why i'm ok with Black Adders behaviour.

It's a GAME about war, yes, which doesn't even come remotely close to a real war. In fact it comes closer to sports than any other competitive situation, which is why playing fair is generally more accepted and respected than not doing so.

But of course as long as you can add to get your 50 rps and claim you 'did it for the realm', people will keep defending such opinions...

Well, regardless of being added or adding someone, I am tired of such tons of Threads about "Fairplay". People bother if the Enemy got more Player (that situation is called "zerg", most used word on this Forum).

They bother about Potions which benefit the rich People and they also don't exhibit fair fights.

They bother about imbalanced/waaaaaaaay too strong classes (i.e. Ranger) which also do not provide any fair fights.





















But yes, fair fights are more accepted than having an (overpopulated) Enemy to fight.

But stop, don't you just relog to another Realm

Realm pride lol... With this RvR community how can I have it. :\ Oh well. I'll keep on keeping on for those groups to get their few rps until I'm finaly fed up and quit. :'(

Besides, fair play is a virtue. Also in war.

and "fair play" is not defined anywhere, everyone has his own definition of what is fair.

Although i hate being addet constantly by black adders, i respect theyr way of playing. Because it is in no way against the rules of the game or server i see no grief play in it.

I would rather call it small-minded to flame people who don't play like you want them to play until they stop doing it, what it most cases means quit the game or at least the rvr part.

That is the predominant reason why we have only 8vs8 and so few active rvr player on uthgard, and in my oppionion the GM's should punish flames ingame and in forum (also the ironic flames) the same way as bad language.

and on topic: i see some bans for the albs doing nothing in the first video and a ban for the warrior and the reaver in the second, what the hib grp did wasn't against any rules.

§2.5 You may not cooperate with other realms in RvR. The realms are meant to have war. However if it is indispensable to fight each others in an equal manner (3 players of different realms fighting each other), there is no problem. As soon as groups of different realms organize their RvR together, it becomes a rule violation.

concerning the albs in the first vid.

if read literally this would also mean you would have to add every 8vs8, at least when your realm is loosing the fight. I didn't make the rules and am happy they are not carried out as written, but rules are rules. And we all accepted them after creating our chars. /shrug

§2.6 You may not arrange any duels against players of other realms. This is a prohibited way of gaining realmpoints. Violation may result in losing all realm points or even account termination.

they walked side by side without attacking each other, looks like an arranged fight to me.

don't get me wrong, i don't want them to get banned. But just judging the rules they did something against the rules.

Did you read that rule ? ^^

What is forbidden is to organize rvr with another realm, which means talking to them to meet at a specific place for instance.

From my point of view it just looks like they both wanted to get away from AMG where they are sure to get added. You can't call it an arranged duel just because they pull the fight away from this gay AMG camped 24/7.

the only exception in the rule clearly only says it is no problem to fight together with another realm against the 3rd in a 3-way fight. Theere is no exception that say's you may choose when you let your realm mates die and when not.

The realms are meant to be at war... have you ever heard of something like "let them kill our people, looks like a fair fight" in a war? ^^

And this is also the problem with the second rule, as soon as you look for a quite place to have your duel togehter with your enemy it is an arranged duel.

I know many of you like the sports idea in daoc, but the game isn't meant this way. And looking at the server rules this server isn't also. There are games like guildwars that have other policies. This is a game about war, for sure a game and no real war bla bla, but still a game about war.

This means red is dead, point. And you should fight the fights as they come, if you encounter an enemy in a place known for adds, you will have to fight him there.

I am not a friend of strict rules, and when players choose to make theyr own rules it is absolutely ok for me and i will follow every rule i feel has a sense. But you can't press everyone to follow this selfmade rules.
