I dont speak about 2 milegates. Runis stated that all action is at the amg and it wasnt different in NF. Most stealthers were at the amg and some at the hmg (now mmg). So how is it different? The problem is not OF, it is the behaviour of the players

As an alb stealther I wouldn't camp amg either. It's covered in Rangers.

It WAS different, there were plenty of stealthers at hmg, and yes, the players are a problem too but OF is the bigger problem because the map layout promotes camping. Not to mention how much more visible soloers there were in NF.

I suggest the staff implement NF MoS and remove True Sight and See Hidden when they implement the new RA system. NF MoS will balance the stealth war and help keep it mobile. You do not want a pure OF RA stealth war on your server.

but in 1.70 mytic statted out that they did a stealthrevamp (which means the new stealth-system). so the new stealth system is a bugfix from mytic..
and staff said they do not implement obvious bugs from mytic. so if they stand to their own words they have to keep the actual stealth system.. |

Why do discussions like this always degenerate into "well I doubt X will get anything because Y won't either." Who gives a crap? What happens to other classes and play-styles isn't relevant to this discussion. If some one said that hybrids probably won't get Det because stealthers won't get NF MoS they'd be flamed out of the thread for being an off-topic asshole. We all know the staff have said they won't implement custom balance fixes. Sensible people also know what a doomed to failure policy this is. After we've finished this train-wreck-in-slow-motion the staff will have to accept that a few targeted, custom changes are needed to make Uthgard fun again. We might as well start making suggestions now.

Staff said they will deal with the imbalances. What how when etc is to be guessed though.

This is one of the major problems with the orginal RAs.
There are many more, but I think most of the players forgot about them. For visibles, it will come down to which group gets AoE mez off first. That's about it. Have fun with the original RAs...... |

I don't care about truesight, it's an active ability by 30 mins reuse...a grp of 8 archers can see the "shadows" only for 30 seconds each, it means 4 minutes.
Other 26 minutes i can pass amg without fear to be owned by 10 lurikens (and basically i can head to mmg ...). See hidden gives me the chance to avoid trusesight, if i pass the wall and i see a luri-truesight ranger or hunter, i don't pass until truesight down. All those players (rangers) who are 10l,9l and high rr have to think about others, the old free rps time is at the end ![]() No more melee archers btw (rightly), truesight makes a ranger to see the assassin, but if he comes in close combat i see him with see hidden, and i can ever make pa. Remove True Sight. Remove See Hidden. Remove MoS. Even remove Detect Hidden. Done. All these Stealth v Stealth tools only serve to perpetuate the stupid Stealth War crap.
