That's simply not true.
Before that "Soloers, come to Odins!"-Thread, Odin's Gate was dead the whole day. I could stand there at amg afk for hours and noone came around.
Some days and weeks after starting that thread, Odin's Gate amg became a soloers paradise. Of course not for long, as some weeks later duos and smallgroups came. Later also bigger groups were seen there from time to time.
So we had a dead zone and made a mixed-rvr zone out of it.
I think that _is_ an improvement for the overall rvr status.
There will never be a pure solo zone or pure 8vs8 zone in daoc, so you better accept that and stop beeing so negative about everything...

In my opinion players who only invite for groups high rr players really kill rvr. Zerg give chance to low rr players get some fun and rps.

I agree that a set grp of rr9-rr11 makes pugs log cause they have really poor chance to win, but when does it happens? As far as I see in Emain only Anguish run such groups, and I saw em like twice in one month.

Talking about hib (It was mid some weeks ago) zerg, well it's something you can see everyday in Emain

Since i play in this server, this happened ever.

Sounds like a nice idea, i guess we can only wish for even numbers on each side but regardless it should be an experience for everyone. We should be able to get a group out for this.

The original post says we start at 20:00 GMT+1. My question does that mean 20:00 MEZ / CET? If so, we must remember that at the moment we are on summer time in Europe and Paris/Berlin is now GMT+2. UK is now GMT+1.

So, does it start at 8PM German time? Which is 2PM in New York and 11AM in California? or 1 hour later?

Thx Gil. I edit that. As i read it on Wikipedia, GMT is +1 UTC +2, England have a Summertime themself so GMT + 1, but UTC +2.
