They should, and they will, unfortunately. Quivna was alwyay buffed to the teeth by a buffbot, and was using assassin poisons, none of which is possible on Uthgard.

Of course rangers will still be the strongest archer class, but archers as a whole would take a huge hit.

This is true ;) Quivna was full buffed and in the movies are many fights, where he/she virtually destroys unbuffed people. But as far as I remember, there were also some vids, were Quivna wins against buffed foes using IP and AP.

From someone, who has played a scout in a time, where see hidden (see hidden = MoS at 3000 range against archer stealth for 8 RA points) was introduced without camo and "/who scout" brought up 2-5 of 3000 players, I think that Scouts and Hunters will suffering very much from old RA system, while ranger remains still playable, at least at high realm rank.

Yes you can apply poison and give weapons to other players on Uthgard , i reported it but it seems to don't be a bug...
BTW you cannot do it on live

I thought you couldn't do it on Uthgard, and that the staff said it was a intentional custom change (with which I agree btw). 8O

in my opinion, scout is best bow dmg, cause of ( most times ) highest bow specc...

to get good selfbuffs with ranger / hunter, you have to spend much points, wich you need for hgh bowspecc, so with selfbuffs, you might even bow dmg out...

guess scout is 1st
ranger 2nd
and hunter 3rd

in bow dam, depends on their specc

Unfortunatly, this isn't true. There is a difference between 35+15 and 50+15 bow, but the difference is not very high. Overcap bow only slightly increase the cap bow damage. At least, so it was in classic times ;)

With ranger you can spec: 35 Bow, 40 PF, 39 Weapon, 19 CD, 35 Stealth and will outdamage a scout in melee and with bow ;)

My rr5 ranger with 40+15 bow, with a 99% qual 5.5 spd bow has a damage cap of 515 normal shot, and 1030 crit cap. Also keep in mind dmg stat doesnt effect the results of your dmg cap, only vs a target with AF and so on.

50 Bow vs 45 Bow. What a great comparison of cap damage. Cap damage is only influenced by bow speed and skills in bow.
