Lets say 2 or 3 reasonably combined zones of new frontiers of one realm with 3 keeps with 4 towers each. Forget the relic idea. Most people simply dont care about them. For example emain + briefine or briefine with cruachan gorge (or alb frontier - most people are fed up with hibernia already ^^) with custom teleporter keeps as those we had in emain 2 or 3 years ago. Advantages of such solution are nf keeps with towers and no choke points forced by the zone layout. That forces people to cruise around looking for enemies so its definitely easier to avoid adds and zergs. Interesting solution would be also adding teleporters to keeps so that keep defense would be possible. At the moment before you get to a keep its already taken.

I would be grateful if such vote option was added. Its the best solution since most people really enjoyed the nf emain we had long time ago. The only difference to be made is enlarging the area cause of growing uthgards population.

Making agramon main rvr zone its also a mistake cause it provides even less options of cruising than other battlegrounds.

with Crim, Crau and Bolg as teleporter keeps, nice level spots and nice to solo cause of the bridges and the water you could use to avoid hotspots ect.

if there were an option to vote to have that back, i'd vote that one

How about Hib/Mid/Alb 4 NF zones with middle zone with 2 relic keeps?
I know it would be a custom rvr but lets face the fact. Who really likes our OF (excluding all those stealths camping AMG)?

Lets be serious. Keep RvR is totaly dead. Since most relic raids during prime time have failed, everyone takes them in the middle of the night with only a few enemy defending it.
Another story applies to normal keep raids where defenders lose their keep even before defense grp organises.

I know many ppl still keep their "sweet OF memories" but our reality is totaly different. How many ppl voted for OF and now plays them? As i log Alb/Hib i see same ppl i played with in Agramon... Not to mention they're mostly afk because running from Hib to Emain is totaly unenjoyable.


Now lets think about New frontiers. One main rvr zone Breifine/Jamtland/Pennine with 2 relic keeps. 3 "realm" zones (in hib, only as example) Cruachon Gorge for Hibs, Mount Collory for Alb (or Mids) and Emain Macha for Mids (or Albs). All those 3 zones have 2 keeps with towers so DF-opening-fun should improve.

Need more advantages?
- Easier accest to rvr zones for all reams.
- EQUAL accest to rvr zones for all realms (play Alb/Mid and THEN Hib in OF and you will easly understand what i mean)
- 3 zones for PVE (small man with all possibilities to join "main" rvr in Breifine/Jamtland/Pennine really fast)
- Possibility to implement horse/boat routes for every zone
- Chance to implement tower/keep porting system for much more enjoyable keep-fight-system
- Many more i cant remember atm:)

I'm pretty sure some of you will dislike this concept of our RvR but keep in mind it is only a basic overview of how it could look like. We all can add our ideas to make it better:)

back then there weren't 4-5FGs in the rvr zone though ;)

depends which realm you were in..
in ''good old emain'' albs had serious problems to even leave port tower..
it was camped 24/7 and there you had the chace to kill ppl right after they left gate of tower..
this was no fun at all.

You know that we had max 40 players in NF emain compared to up to 200 players in OF? And I don't know whether you remember but with NF Emain the players begged for a change. Even Agramon RvR would be too small for our population. Agramon is just a BG. Players were always unsatisfied for one reason or another. Or the unsatisfied made their voice loud in the forums and the picture distorts.

Don't forget that the past is not that shiny as it seems in your memory. Just search through the forum posts at these specific times.

Just remember NF statements: "Keep RvR sucks, Solo RvR is dead, FG's kill fun in Agramon" Take away the instant Agra Ports and you will get a hell of whines with NF. The new level spots in Agramon were the only solution which got it a bit healthier than before, especially in night times were only 5-10 players were in NF.

I don't see an option i like. If i were to choose I'd go for a customization of the OF layout we have now ( enhance xp / rvr ).

Full livelike NF (no port to agra, port to keeps, boats, etc)


Just to remind people of what this setup was like, it was in offtimes empty, on primetime up to 4fgs could be met at the bridge bottlenecks to agra, smallman/solo activity was near to non-existent.

On the other hand, by taking the forth most keep one (overpopulated [in rvr area]) realm would exclude another realm from porting. And as OF has proven so far, longer traveltime = less members of that realm participating in rvr.

It spawned alot of "fixes":

- boats removed to tunnel players through agramon
- killmsg system adjustment (add us plz!)
- and last but not least, the reinstatement of the instant port to agra


So tell me why should i choose between two flawed concepts. Please give the option of voting "neither".
