Its not whine, its about fairness about Relics.. mid is Melee realm, Hib is caster realm, Alb is hybrid realm ....

Mid is melee and caster realm, alb is meh could work realm, hibernia is lol realm.

The relic concept in DAoC is a bit weird.

The already strongest realm with the biggest zerg gets bonuses to get even stronger.

Hibs have even bigger zerg if they stop PvE and log theyr L50 toons instead of hugging nearest trees.

True, it's unfair if Albion gets 10% Bonus instead of 2. The reason for mid to get relics would be avoiding that albion gets +10% bonus damage in melee combat.

@Others: Please not another discussion about Realmbalance. Most arguments are invalid anyay, so please give peace on it.

is the reason why mids should get no bonus to str relics :D... the thought of 2 shotting anything on my bm is lollable. (maybe runie with shields down, or sitting down blue con :D)

Kind of makes sense doesn't it? Should the weaker realms get stronger for being weaker?


I don't know how it works here but in both OF and NF on blue servers the more relics you had the harder it was to keep them so it made it easier for the weaker realms to get them back.
It wouldn't make sense to penalize a stronger realm, the whole idea is to be top dog. What really screws the game is being able to play all realms on one server. Although Mythic was stuck between a rock and a hard place as they consolidated servers they should have bit the bullet and made people stick to one realm or put a substantial timer to switching(as in days). It would make people work a lot harder to be top dog. Unfortunately we have the same problem here.

@Rastah

You have charge and the ability to slam your opponents. Every class hss a different role in the war. Try a Valewalker for Damage. I also heard that Champions deal hell lot damage too with his debuffs etc.

Try different classes and different setups for different situations. There are no perfect setups which beats everything.

That makes sense^^ more relics should mean less or weaker relic guards. Anyone know if its like this on uthgard?

So what was the deal here?

I don't think mids understand that we had 11 groups waiting to intercept when mids had like maybe 3fgs? We would have easily had a good fight, but instead a magical reboot knocked off 95% of our players, which made it pretty damn easy for mids to finish off that short run.

Here is a pic after being one of the first in on the guard fix reboot. Mids returned relic about 30 seconds later. Look at the nice server message. Lol.

I love wasting hours of my time. I'd ask you to steal my soul, but there is no necro to do so. :lol:

thats part of it being a shard is that either way u look at it the guys on the server side do have the power.
