thanks a lot for addressing this problem so fast

i think this warning message i a good improvement to the problematic stituation 8)

the effect we will see the next days but a little bitter taste stays that albion profits from this situation more then the other realms

both, us mids, and hibernia raided relics and lost relics the last days due to the fact defense was nearly impossible

now albion own all str relics and their own magic relic and if these changes turn out to be effective it will be a lot harder to get our relics back from them

i think it would only be fair to reset the relics for all realms with these changes made - i dont think that it will be impossible to get the relics back but in the spirit of good sportsmanship i don`t want albions reputation be stained with gaining cheap relics 8)

its not like the albs cant raid relics the same way will with have to with a warning message and all, isn`t it ? 8)

I have to say I didn't notice any lagspikes but other people I play with talked about em aswell.

I think the current 900 cap should be enough for now. 1500+ would be awesome one day but I think that's just utopia or atleast a few more months.

Yes! It was really handy and tbh I don't see why it had to go.

This or a working war map would be super awesome. Many keeps are claimed by guilds who are small so people aren't always aware that keeps are under attack untill they're lost.

Can't really agree. I think the large majority of people already playing on the server have atleast one level 50. It's more about them logging in and RvR than xp.

On live OF had patrols on all keeps, then the claimed ones had special guards on relics that yell help on broad of the guild when was under siege ( not siege really, only if get killed), relics had patrols too, that could be a help to notice an attack and help to guilds to cooperate on intel.

yes but on Official only 1 of "Uber" Relic Guard can solo kill a full Raid....

are you sure do you want really to do pve in Frontiers too?

I think the doors are tough enough, yesterday we where ~3 grps, with 2 rams first door 1 second 1 third and we needed more than 1 boring hour (at least i guess, i didnt watch the clock but it felt like 3 hours).

But as mentioned enough in this thread time doesnt matter if no one knows you are at the relic.

Thanks for the change with the realm message, hope this allready solves the problem (now that our relics are gone, gnarrr) :D

I have difficulty to understand. I did not notice lags so far. The server runs absolutely smooth at 10% CPU usage and around 600kb/sec traffic (which is still way below of our capacity). A real lag is when you click a button and you notice a delay for that action. Maybe you can fraps what you mean by lag?

I dont want to exclude a real bug in the server code as I noticed shadow players and shadow mobs quite often recently. Most players will propably already noticed that horses don't get deleted when out of view. Same happens to players.

2- further increase the server cap, if the server can take it (see above), the goal should be 1500+, to accomodate the many players that are switching from live to uthgard these days

First lets reach 900 and see how it works out.

3- re-implement the mythical slot for necklaces, saves people that annoying switching, and everyone I talked to was happy with it, any annoyed with its removal

I wonder. The messages are still there. Every guard who is killed issues a message to the guild which claimed the keep. Nonetheless I added a realm wide message for under siege.

We can talk about an underpopulation bonus.

I think he mean for relic keep only.

I dont think the lags are caused by the server's hardware or software. I think they are just connection lags, like spikes, not delays like high ping. If you get a time-out you will get spikes and see people teleporting around. Connection problems by client or your hoster. Ive had some lags myself but i guess it was my connection since my group had none when i had them.

I want to make sure that its not a software problem which can be fixed. I know of that shadowing and try to fix that. Like I said, a real lag is when you click a button or write in chat and see a delayed reaction to it.

One of our member also has extreme lagspikes since the new server. Guess thats just a routing problem of his ISP from him to the new server (it is another location than the old server?).

For me and most other of my guild the connection is really smooth, some minor lags from time to time, but not worse than live servers.

maybe its just the servers reaction to the albs gaining cheap relics which are now protected by brandnew warning messages ^^

servers can be very emotional with stuff like this 8)
