This story could go on forever. I will try to keep it simple. 14 years ago I found a game that i truely loved. I leveled up and discovered 8vs8 on Merlin. I basically ran as a sub for Angry Elves, Eternal Shadows, MIRA, and a few others (if your old school and remember old guilds) and played to till there core group got on. I played Druid and Hero. TOA basically killed the game for me. I gave it a sporting chance but the ML killed it for me. I quit for a few months and came back on Alb/Merlin and ran a Armsman for Deadly Riot but could not get deep in to it with all the PvE. I have played WoW, Warhammer, Elder Scrolls, Guild Wars 2, and Black Desert only be bored and lose interest after a few months. I feel like i have been chasing a high that I could not recreate. Then I found out about Uthgard but it was already down for its long maintenance. Then i just happen to see yesterday that it will be back up soon and I am looking for a home. I am looking for decently steady 8vs8. A little information about me.

Yeah the name came from TG i ran with it after my DAOC days. I played Manual the Hero and Cessik the druid.

I feel your pain, going to be tough to find a guild when basically everyone I know has quit. Especially when my story is less potent then yours, as I was just an account whore of all three realms,I am glad to see Cind/Cessik back in game.

I c, i was briefly in AE, Shux forced me :p, after my time in Eternal Shadows, and MIRA, was in MIRA when only Meloveyou and Lavis was there, kinda went to lancelot after that.

Hey Cind, if you fancy Albion check out Vanquish! At the moment it looks like we are the only large NA guild with very healthy numbers, and have history going back years. If you dont fancy Alb, then best of luck to you and good to see an old timer has found their home again with Uthgard

Hopefully some US people will form same kind of guild on hib and mid. Would not be good if all the americans would only play alb

I played on Merlin / Hib back in the good old pre ToA days, what you just described fits me perfectly as well.

I played with ACORN (back when they kicked everyone's arse)
Later i joined MIRA and CoP.

I played Arzural (Chanter), Arzubel (Druid) and Lahar (BM).

I'm also eagerly awaiting the server to get back up so i can play the game i never could forget, no MMO have captured me the same as DaoC (wow was close tho).

@Oswaldo: what was your char's name on hib ?
