After posting multiple issues with hunters, and after many peoples comments about how normal it is that hunters are "easy rps", how they sometimes "never even get hit at all" b cuz of the screwed up mechanics, and then to see things like "its live like", well i have 1 statement....

Live doesn't have tajendi....

From the knowledge i've accumulated about Hunters on the forum, there's is no proper bugs on hunter.
The class itself isn't bugged.
Hunter is just broken because of flawed code/bug about some part of game mechanics (defense penetration & Pet behaviour).

Staff is working on it.
Just wait.

Don't worry, scouts are in the same boat. Except that once staff figures out how to fix hunters then..... well.... scouts will still suck...

IF the staff implement a defense penetration code that is balanced for this server then the scout will benefit from the same fix as the hunter.

Still, we should add that hunters were never pwnzor at our desired patch setting. And what exactly did Tajendi to offend you? :)

At least Hunter's have a chance to win some battle's. If you really want to power level enemy realms realm rank roll a Scout or Infy or better yet a Wizard lol

So, of all the things this game does to mimic live servers, and run at a targeted patch level, all the OP notices is Tajendi?
Nightshade, Blademaster, Bard, Mentalist

Hunter is not really broken, neither is the scout...

Its the fullbuffed duel wielding ranger that is quite strong, in addition with scouts having a shield that is easily penetrated by any other stealther besides a hunter, and the fact that pets dont really deal any real damage nor do they half the defense rates counting as a second attacker. If, in addition the hunters higher weaponskill would count to defense penetration, hunter would be quite powerfull, maybe even as strong as a ranger, but only maybe, in the future...
While the scouts, with usually less than normal thrust/slash-spec would still be stuck at the same situation, if not having an even harder life actually.

I dont want to destroy your hope ... but even, if the hunter is fixed in terms of the state of 1.69, he will suck alot. I played scout (melee) in the classic times and the only stealther I could easily beat was a hunter :p

but atm we dont have old RA´sand so we dont use 1.69.
a bug is a bug and have to get fixed doesnt matter which patch date (for example pets can activate enemy proccs... was toa fix, but STILL A BUGFIX!)

and i rly think that zhinquiri remembers the salis hunter (even before imbapets!) okay there was a bit more advantage with overcaps a.s.o. but some hunters even rocked at those times (no, not aillienas gimptard ^^)

and jonah... its the same i said alltime, its just the player, not the class, but now i have seen so many bugs on hunter ... ridiculous ^^

Yah, the hunter certainly has some issues that need addressed for sure, and I agree, just because the scout is not getting the same benefit from the hunter fix does not mean that the fix shouldnt be done. If there is something "broke" with a class then by all means it should be fixed. Also, just as a side note the #1 stealther on Iseult when I played on classic and threw ToA was a hunter. I could be wrong, but I thought his name was Smee or something like that. Its been a long time, but I do remember that that Smee (or whatever his name was) was the #1 rp earner stealther on the server and nobody ever wanted to fight him 1 vs 1. He was really good at kiting w/ his bow and when you would finally get to him he would put a whooping on you with his mele.
