theres only one class that i'd like to play in Alb and thats a scout...unfortunately the scout is one the hardest classes in the game to lvl up...due to the fact that its really expensive to have one, and since there are low amount of groups in this server as it is I don't have the patience to stand around in Cotswold for hours on end trying to get a group. I love the scout but without proper starting support its pointless to play one. I like alot of classes from albion, i enjoy a pally only for pve (cause mostly they are terrible for pvp), thugs are great so are cabby's but i don't want to play them lol

Plus archer damage is borked.

i think there is more than enough support for starters in albion

meh i haven't seen many, probably cause i don't speak Dutsche lol

there are english players on albion, look for the united blades ^^ we're supportive towards new players

else ask the one called darkref.. hes givin away some startergold to new players.. and u dont need a grp as a scout. with a decent spec at least.

Try to level a hunter and then a scout you will feel the difference

The only way to level I find here is this: Go in a spot with yellow mobs, and start exping. While you exp you ask for some group every 5-10 min. When you have to quit always quit in a mob spot so you don't waste time travelling around^.
In this way, even if you don't find a group, you will make quite good exp (better if you buy as soon as possible some sc equip or items to cap str,dex and melee resist)

meh from what i've read i think i'll hold off on scout cause it looks like the bow and sheild system for scout is borked atm....so i'll stick with my zerker until i have news that the scout is fixed. I like scout cause they are great rvr chars...but if what you rely on to do the job is down then there is no point lol. I do like paladin but once again sheild is borked...so my ubah spec that my friend and I developed is useless...it was only good for pve tanking anyways lol. Armsmen are good but not great in rvr, i don't play merc, I'm not down for running a sorc...never been too handy with mezzing. I like the theurg but its really one kill one death trade off for them. I love the earth wizzy but leveling them up is horribly slow without sufficient groups. meh i'm just indecisive when it comes to what i should play...i don't know anyone here and I want to group but considering my last group i was in i got bullyed by a GM I don't know whether i should trust groups in this server.

the curent underdog class of the curent underdog realm. Your choice of Berserker will give you a much better time playing DAoC/Uthgard.

But it is not scout that is not working, it is archery. I do not know about shield, but if it is faulty too then this makes scout the weakest of the 3 archers at the moment as this class is mostly about bow and shield.

Scout would be rough for a first toon. I know..it was my first toon on Daoc and I gave up at lvl 20
