Thats not true. When I was in wilton/thid in the morning or when I got home from school, there was nobody there, therefore I logged out...

when there would be a good rp bonus for taking keep, you would take the keep and log off after that, having made free rps, logging anyways :)

i dont see the point why there should be more action just because of rp reward for keep taking, people will just abuse that for some free rps, logging out after that .....and maybe logging in when the keep owner changed to get the raid rps again

Thats the point. Its the fact that those people "abusing" the keep that gives RP. There will be people there taking the keep instead of people logging in, nobody there, logging out. People in BG = RvR. Anyway it depends how much RP. Say 100-500, if they get a keep and theres nobody to stop them, its not going to unbalence the whole game.

500 is probably too much in the early RvR environments. At that point I can see it being more profitable for two realms to trade keeps all day long and come out with more RP than they would if they were killing eachother.

Perhaps the reward should be limited to once or twice daily per character? They would really knock out any attractiveness keep trading might hold.

during the last 3 days i´ve been playing more active and every time we decided to raid a tower/keep at least 50% of the group left even before we opened the first door .

i dont care about xp bonus on my lvl50 toons , and i´m not planning to lvl another one .

and the rp bonus doesn´t make up for the effort taking the keep - for me at least . it takes 20 minutes+ to get one - i´m usually better off hunting enemies that time for a better overall result .

i dislike df rvr since most of the time you just face weaker enemies there (levlers). no need for seals , enough cash for pots/recharges,finished sc´s - so no need to farm. df is dead to me.

i´ve been raiding plenty of keeps on uth and it´s not getting more exciting.
unless you can get a decent ammount of rp for taking a keep it´s just a waste of time. but if the rp you gain through a keep is too high ppl wont dare to defend it and rather re-raid it.

yes i´m an rp hungry egoist that doesn´t care for the rest of the realm - but im obviosly not the only one.

so whats the stuff i´m looking for ?
cash ? got plenty
bps ? for what ?
items ? sc´s are finished - so no need
reskins ? i dont care
respecs ? basicly the only thing that i´m still interested in and the main reason i participate on dragonraids.

my idea to change that situation in the lvl50 rvr zone would be:

keeplords drop a fixed ammount of tokens(maybe 17 +1 for each keeplevel) which you can exchange at a merchant.

1 - 100rp
10 - 1000gold
25 - single respec
30 - full respec
40 - ra respec

just an idea to make up for the time you invest to actually get something out of it.
prolly won´t be done anyway cause of the rvr-zone change and it has nothing to do with the live servers.

I think you could put a 0 in each stuff and increase respec cost, like:
10 -100 RP
100 - 1000 Gold
500 - single respec
750 - full respec
1000 - ra respec

i chose 17+1 for each keeplevel so that if you raid a full upgraded keep each player of a fullgroup should get 3.

and raiding 10 keeps for 30 tokens to get a fullrespec should be enough.keep in mind it takes ~30 minutes on the average to get one keep . 300minutes (5hours) spend for just a respec is even more than you have to invest if you want one from a dragonraid.

and if you trade these 30 minutes for 300 rps ( 3x100) its not too much.

if your dedicated to farming spending 1,5 hour for 1 p aint profitable either.

i´m not talking about towers or bgs . xp bonus is more than enough a reward in a bg.

the keeps are hard enough to take so its difficult to do it with less than a fullgroup - so players get slightly more token if its less then a fg and still manages to kill the lord.

the keep might even "produce" tokens for the guild that owns it . so they better defend it.

To be honest, I absolutley love the idea of those tokens, buy i'd say:

The price: x5

The droprate: perhaps 7+Keep level, If keep is level one , thats one for each member of a fg

The droprate: Every player inside the keep walls, can go retrieve its token(s) from the new Keep lord, Will take some more coding i guess.

The Rewards: Add some cheap rewards like: potions (but not cheap enough to wreck the 'alchemist economy' :p), or what about 'Port into df even when its closed consumables, for those low level twinks that are rotting just outside the portal?
Little more expensive rewards like weapon lusters , perhaps even unique pets, (Horse decoration ?)

I actually would like it if they would implement something like this
