Comments to videos should be allowed. You would do it on Youtube too.

Firstly because everyone here can write if he likes the video or if he don't like it. The creater of a video wants to have feedback and sometimes that can be negative criticism, too.
The Thread stay open, so people are able to give a feedback even one year after the video was posted. That is what the Video Forum is for.

Of course in some thread it more whining then criticism, but well just report that post.

yes pls respect other players when they post a video ... good or bad it doesnt matter tell your opinion without trolling to get a threat with a video of some guy closed i think its bad!

why not just open taniswolfs thread so we can comment on his video?

or is he exempt from "you should be able to leave comments"

Anybody that takes the time and effort to make a video I /respect. It's a lot of work and shows passion for the game we all love. I really enjoy watching them all during slow times at work. ssshhhhh, don't tell. Please keep up the hard work. Most of us really appreciate it.

Did you already asked for that? No, you didn't. It is just easy to complain about something, instead thinking about the right way for some people.
If a thread get locked, it just because much people spam in that thread. It would be to much work, to moderate that topic and it wouldn't make that much sense at all.

After some time, there is not problem to unlock such threads. Even if the thread owner ask for cleaning up the thread, wouldn't be a problem. I even thought about, to rework the threads in the forum, but well Im still working on the tutorial section ^^.
