Hey y'all!

I'm glad and proud to announce my first movie in which I've really spared no time or effort to create it, starring my battlebard character named Scorch.

The footage is taken during the last couple of days in Braemar.

Musical weapon of choice: some decent rock followed by top-notch present hardcore, all entwined as good as I could in the video footage.


One last note before I let everyone's eyes and ears enjoy my hard work; I've had some troubles publishing the movie in one go, so had to do it in two to get the final result all combined, which is kind of sad because I've lost a considerable amount of quality because of it. So, I hope that doesn't annoy you too much to prevent you from enjoying the vid. I'm sure I'd love to have it in higher quality at least as much as you do! (Hint: I've noticed VLC media player giving a better view than windows media player.)

So, please take your time to download and enjoy it, any feedback is welcome!

Lol... if it's the character models you mean, it's just preferance. I for one prefer playing the game as it used to be, with old models, which I like best, obviously you like the newer ones better.

I've killed some greens, but that's not the 'special' part of the vid, there's better fights in there. That fight vs 4 greens xping was just an introductionary fight for the solo part.

Yup I do click especially on a char I'm not so used to playing with in RvR.

Haha yep especially when my DD is down

First: this is my personal opinion, so:

+:

- The movie size fit to my screen (16:10)
- not just a simple video parts after each other and if i could this was made with WMM, not so bad
- at least not an i pwneverything and better then Chuck Norris video ( and some (?)epic long fight against 1,2,... green)

-:

- The music... Okey it's the creator choice what music he/she using, but for MMORPGs usually better a bit popular music (This pumpin' is a bit much for me)
- old models are looks really ugly for me
- too much green/blue kills (first try i can't see the whole movie, just clicked on it, and almost all i saw you killing blues)

My tiny observation:

My knowledge about bard is limited, but your DD seems more important in this video then you push every time that with mouse. (I'm also newbie with Minstrel, i know saying this is easier then doing it)

I'll agree that the music isn't suited for every viewer ^^.

Tbh I find some of the new models way uglier than the old ones.

About the green/blues.. that's just part of braemar init? I've only made one kill on a green solo, that was the green skald. For the rest there's always adds or either he's/she's grped and I'm pretty much always solo so imo that counts as at least one yellow . Not to mention that there's tons of fights vs yellows/oranges.

PS: about using my mouse.. I bet if I didnt enable mouse recording nobody would have noticed me doing it, at least now u see that using mouseclicks doesn't always stand for a bad playstyle.

Even w/o mouse record usually the skill tooltip also visible

Yea but I'm just saying you won't notice it by the way I play, I never really come short on anything because I'm using my mouse.

what about paning?

I think it's already established that if you are good with clicking, you would be better with keyboard.

Hmm yea might be so, tho I can't be arsed learning new quickbinds to be better "in the long run" while sucking inbetween .

In the 'If it's not broken, don't fix it' kind of way.
