Crafter "Love" required please, re: keeps

At higher crafting levels we all know how tedious it becomes to level up, especially when certain crafted items can take 2 minutes or more to make. Factor in that not each attempt succeeds, or you lose materials, or it can take several attempts even to gain a single point in your chosen trade, and you have a recipe for long hours at your PC watching the crafting bar slowly grow in length!
So, with this in mind, is it too much to ask that when keep-taking is going on in the Frontier that the three "crafting" keeps (Cruachan, Bled and Beno) be captured and held for their respective realms? The 25% reduction to crafting time that these three keeps grant is a real bonus to crafters, particularly at higher crafting levels. I'm sure that crafters from all three realms would be most grateful if this could be observed. I get that keep taking is part of the fun of playing DAoC, but do the three keeps mentioned above have to always be captured in such a way that crafters from at least one or two realms don't have access to the crafting keeps' bonus? After all, it's the crafters who make all the best items, so everyone benefits when crafters can craft more quickly! So please show some love, you who take keeps, and remember the poor crafter who's slogging his/her guts out to make MP items for the good of their realm-mates. It's not all about turning all the keeps either red, blue or green! Thanks. |

Do you know those keeps are the only way to get rams in the enemy frontier?
It's the thrill of the chase
and I'm coming after you. |

I didn't know that. Thanks for enlightening me. Perhaps the crafting stations and the respective merchants should be placed in one of each realm's relic keeps and have the -25% crafting speed bonus applied from there? Then everyone would be happy. |
